In Vienna, the coffee house isn’t just a hangout: it’s an institution. Lingering over a newspaper with a pastry and a strong espresso drink is, according to UNESCO, officially a Viennese cultural pastime. Walk off your slice of Sachertorte with a self-guided tour of the city’s stunning traditional, Secessionist, and modern architecture, such as the Imperial Palace, the State Opera House, the Kirche am Steinhof, or the Kunsthistorisches Museum, an exercise in ornate geometry.

Since our opening in October 2016, the Wiener Christmas Salon, Vienna's first Christmas House, enchants its customers with Christmas atmosphere every day of the year. Thanks to its unique conception, Wiener Christmas Salon is more than a shop. It carries the most important symbol of Christmas, the message of love. Besides the wonderful gifts, the specialty of the store is a little showroom where our visitors can get to know the centuries-old traditions of Christmas in various languages. In our atmospheric Salon you can relax next to the fireplace all year, while admiring the lights of the Christmas trees decorated in different styles.
My sister & I were in this lovely store while on vacation. We were surrounded by so many beautiful Christmas ornaments, and decorations. The ladies working were friendly & helpful. I bought 4 beautiful ornaments and a music box. I was on vacation and I really didn't want to carry them around for three weeks so she suggested I have them shipped to my home. What a great idea! When the pkg arrived at my home the music box arrived broken. I emailed the Salon and without hesitation Erika apologized and promised to send me a new one. True to her word a new one arrived, and in perfect condition. I would highly recommend this little gem of a shop! I just wish I could visit them again soon. Thank you Erika
