Fukuoka is a gourmet paradise... "providing you're not vegetarian," say travelers on our Fukuoka forum! It's right on Genkai Sea, and the seafood is fresh and abundant. So is Fukuoka-style ramen, which you can find at the city's famous yatai (outdoor stalls) as well as modern restaurants. Walk off your meal at Ohori Park and the nearby Fukuoka Castle ruins.

Take a bus at bustop A infront of hakata station. 403 yen. A very nice ride to marinoa city. There is a factory outlet there. Many local products with some international brands. However, the prices are still high after discount. It has 2 floors with different colour zones. The first level mainly fashion and top more household with some fashion. There is a starbuck in the center atrium. Also many restaurants and souvenir shops. We also ate lunch at a japanese restaurant. Also took a ride on the ferris wheel for 500 yen. You get to see the city at the highest point. Really beautiful. There is a food court there as well. Other thsn this outlet, around this town, there are shopping malls 10 minutes away. There is also a tower nearby 10 mihutes away. Next to the outlet, there is a catheral too. Overall, a good place to relax, shop and dine.
