Washington DC is a hub for American politics and history. Attracting as many school field trips as it does travelers the district offers a peek into the country’s democratic origin. There are plenty of free museums to take advantage of but the real draw here is the memorials and monuments dedicated to great American leaders. Spend some contemplative time at the Reflecting Pool within the National Mall, among the most patriotic places in the country.

Nice to see an old fashioned book store where you can smell the reading culture. Books were many and inexpensive. A hidden gem!

A store specializing in new and antique jewelry, fine watches, engagement and wedding rings, and gifts.
Been working with Steve K for a year, each time we visit, speak on the phone, text or email, he's been very helpful and accommodating. When we come in the store, he and the entirety of the Tiny Jewel Box family have been very welcoming and helpful. We're never overwhelmed or not assisted to. My wife and I recently came into the store in December 2020 to browse, and I wanted to show my wife a few watches I've been interested in for potential gift ideas. I reached out to Steve K a few days before to see if he was available and if he could meet us. He responded immediately, and we set a time to meet. The last time I spoke to Steve K was 10 months prior where he picked up a random phone call I made to the store where I was seeking a bracelet extension for a watch I owned. Having no prior interaction with the store, he made me feel very welcome for an initial $100 purchase. At the same visit, I met several other staff and marveled at the watches they had. Every TJB staff member I spoke with had a genuine passion and spent time with me to discuss their timepiece and their story with it. When we met again in December 2020, my wife and I browsed several collections. We gave Steve an idea of what we were looking for and found the perfect watches for both of us. We look forward to building a long relationship with Steve @ the Tiny Jewel Box for years to come. There are already several pieces we're building towards.
