Local business in beautiful Spa Region of Daylesford Victoria selling beautiful French Style Bella House Furniture, Gifts with a difference and Homewares. Free all day parking opposite Daylesford Primary School. Great sales and affordability. Definately worth a stroll down Vincent Street to grab a bargain with a difference.

We stumbled across these honey manufacturers whilst visiting in Daylesford and saw the signs. One can try free samples to see which honey one likes. We loved the Black Mallee which was $10 per kilo and the Manuka which was $15 per kilo. This is "real" honey and much better than supermarket purchased honey.

A feast for the senses, the gallery is more than a three level haven of fine art in an historic 19th century mansion. With its decadent retail areas, Mediterranean restaurant, relaxing Altar bar and lounge, restored chapel, nuns museum, penthouse apartment...
I always wanted to visit The Convent Gallery and it did not disappoint. Sectioned off into the nuns museum, art gallery, huge gift shop and very popular cafe, The Gallery overlooks beautiful gardens and spectacular views over Daylesford. It costs $5 admission for adults but is well worth it. So much history and art work. Visit and enjoy.

What a place.. my partner and I were driving past when we made a last minute decision to go and have a nosey as we could see a signpost with distillery this way. I’m so pleased we did. We were greeted by a really lovely lady, who took us through tastings of liquor, tawny and a selection of gin. For a complimentary tasting, I was really taken back by how inviting the whole experience was, she took the time out to talk through at least 12 different spirits and was so engaging throughout. I really felt like we’d paid for a day out - I think we were there for around an hour. (Did I mention that everything was delicious?!) Not only were the tastings great and the company a delight, the venue was stunning. So much character, so much charm, and from the outside you would have absolutely no idea. I couldn’t recommend this place enough for couples or small groups who genuinely appreciate good liquor, gin and spirits. Some of the bottles were a tad deer to buy (however that didn’t stop us buying.. you get what you pay for imo) 10/10 afternoon.

A visit to Daylesford is not complete without a visit to the lake. On the shore of Lake Daylesford is the Bookbarn, a quirky second hand book shop with a small cafe and deck overlooking the lake, This hidden 'gem' has quality secondhand books, local wine, cards from local artists and where possible the cafe uses local produce offering coffee, cake, cheese and wine on the deck. Winter Hours: Open Wednesday through to Monday (closed Tuesday)
