The Welsh capital may have begun its life as a Roman fort, but it's since become a bustling city. Where the fort once stood, Cardiff Castle has held court since the 11th century. It remains a central presence in the city, now full of lively art and music venues, hip boutiques, fun bars and modern hotels. Even with so many new and exciting things to see, the National History Museum is still the most visited attraction in Wales. Don't be the only visitor who plays hooky!

I felt very welcomed as soon as I walked in by the two gentleman who work in this shop. One of the gentleman, Bob, was extremely knowledgable on the origins and history of the love Spoons which I found fascinating. He definitely knew his craft. The other gentleman who's name I did not get was also very friendly and chatty, especially as we both come from the same area. I could tell instantly that they both had a passion for their work. If you want a nice hand crafted Welsh souvenir I highly recommend this shop as it has something special to offer.

Small but beatuiful! About 10 stalls selling artisan cheeses, organic veg, meat (things like pidgeon breast and mutton!), herbs and spices and one of a kind wooden benches/coffee tables. Had a burger and will absolutely return for a regular shop.

Beautiful gift shop in Rhiwbina, Cardiff. At Nest, we offer a friendly and inspirational shopping experience with a fabulous, handpicked selection of gifts and accessories along with one-off pieces to give your home a touch of Nest magic.
Nest is so worth a visit!! Such a good choice of gifts to suit everyone and the shop is most attractively laid out :-) Staff are so helpful and friendly and it's a pleasure wandering around! Earlier this year I treated myself to one of their all leather back packs which come in a range of colours and I love it! So versatile and roomy :-) Anna & her staff are a real asset to Rhiwbina! :-)

Thinking of going on a shopping spree in Cardiff? This is your place. With a wide selection of stores (can be viewed on their website) this place will not disappoint. There are loads of small places to eat and drink as well as big restaurants such as Nandos , Frankie and Bennie's and TGI Fridays. There are loads of places to sit down when your legs get tired. They even offer a collection service where you order items and they store them in a locker (find out more on their website) There is a treetops adventure golf on the top floor aswell as a great day out for the kids. All in all, once of the best shopping centres I've been to.

I was recommended to go here by a friend and boy I wasn’t disappointed. The cafe served the most gorgeous open sandwiches and meat platters. The biscoff frappe is a must! The cafe was excellent value for money. The staff were very attentive and I shall return when I’m next in Cardiff. I spent a small fortune in the shop, great selection of products from around the world, very impressed.
