Cambridge might be best known for its university, home to some of the world’s greatest minds (Milton, Darwin, Hawking, etc.). But there’s a vibrant theater and arts scene here as well, and you’ll find fantastic contemporary restaurants mixed in with traditional pubs. Climb the tower of Great St. Mary’s Church for sweeping views of the city.

We make fudge right in front of you in the shop! You can come in and watch, sample flavours for free and take our fudge home in lovely boxes.
We had a lovely morning making and sampling fudge after we were given a family ‘fudge making experience’ as a present. Lee and the boys in the shop were very friendly and keen for us to have a go creaming and loafing the salted caramel fudge. It was amazing to watch the whole process and join in with all the steps. It’s the children got involved and we were able to sample all the different flavours along the way. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely delightful place. Underneath the pleasant shop is a 'smoking lounge' with nice comfortable Chesterfield sofas and chairs and of course a humidor. This was a special event (although reasonably priced at £30pp) where we got to taste x 2 cigars and a lovely whisky and a very nice rum. Really interesting and friendly hosts and great conversation from the other participants. Would definitely go there again and bought some cigars to keep me going until my next visit. Highly recommended.

Second hand and antiquarian books at bargain prices. Due to our location in Cambridge we specialise in old scientific and mathematical books, but there is something for everyone. Much of our stock is donated by Cambridge academics who are down-sizing their libraries. Stock is refreshed weekly. All profits are used to fund the local animal welfare work of the RSPCA.

A unique artisan chocolate store located in the heart of Cambridge city. Handmade chocolates, treats and Gifts for all ages. Chocolate Making Courses Chocolate Tasting Courses Corporate Chocolate Courses Hen Party Chocolate Courses Children's Birthday Parties
We came here as we had a buy a gift for chocolate tasting. We had travelled from kidderminster so took us 2 1/2 hours to get here. Car parking was no good as took us a further 30 mins to find a space. So we were late by 40 mins for our course. When we finally got there they had already started so we just quickly caught up with them. The chocolate was very tasty and we had 3 different activities to do. This was great as you tried different strengths of chocolate and also the info behind it all. Differently something I would get a gift for in the future Throughly enjoyed it.

We visited friends in Cambridge yesterday and popped into this beautiful little sweet shop. It took me right back to my childhood with such a great choice of sweets with lots of new stuff too. The shop is clean and tidy yet small but massive. Spiral staircase is just gorgeous and with more variety downstairs. The staff here are amazing! They were friendly, chatty and most of all they were helpful. It's rare to see these days in a shop so popular as staff automatically presume that customers will buy no matter what, which is a good awful shame. But not here, even if the staff see you about to buy they will still find the time to chat to their customers whilst busy. I seriously recommend a visit here. Even the fact that I've now got toothache after eating one of their glorious toffee's and pulling at my wisdom tooth, I still can't stress enough that it should be made law that this place should be visited by everyone! Bravo, Hardy's, your staff and store is amazing!
