Calling themselves "the soul of the coast," the residents of Boothbay Harbor are proud of their seaside town, with its bright summer colors and beautiful snowy winters. A popular sailing and kayaking destination, Boothbay offers more than just boats. There's delicious seafood, seasonal festivals, and plenty of nature trails to explore. Kids will love visiting Fritz, the 23 pound lobster at the Maine State Aquarium, while adults enjoy jazz concerts or comedy shows at the historic Opera House.

Eventide Specialties is a very special place in the center of Boothbay Harbor and the perfect place for fresh baked breads, delicious cheeses, specialty items and an entire room dedicated to olive oils and vinegars. The staff are kind and knowledgable.

OPEN MEMORIAL DAY THRU EARLY OCTOBER. This is a seasonal, one-woman working studio with all pottery being made on-site by the shop owner. The potter's wheel is located in the front of the shop and customers are encouraged to watch Julie throwing her pieces there. The glaze/kiln area is open for viewing as well. Questions about the pots and process are always welcome. Her work focuses on functional, practical pottery meant to be used and to enhance your quality of life on a daily basis. Functional pottery - Art for everyday life!
Just received my beautiful new shaving scuttle. It's heats the lather perfectly and helps give me an awesome shave. I highly recommend Dirty Bird Pottery!

When you think of “The Best Pet Store in Maine” you might think of a warehouse-sized, linoleum-floored, fluorescent-lit behemoth with a moose or lobster on the side of it. But for people who truly love their pets, it's quality, rather than quantity, that counts. We stock our shop with high-quality dog and cat foods, locally made treats and toys, and Maine-made collars and leashes. Free local delivery. Once you visit us, you will come back again and again. We got the idea to open a shop when our Black Lab “Max” began talking to us in barely audible tones, saying “...build me a shop and stock it with all kinds of tasty things for me to eat...” That complete, Max's orders became more direct-- “Build me a Dog Army of Labs that I might conquer the earth and impose my will upon all living creatures...” So we acquired Auggie and Buddy -- Max's Black Lab Lieutenants. These days, the shop is ruthlessly run by Max and his two hench-dogs whilst we obey his every order, however ridiculous.
Treats and lovins your employees gave to our four legged family members made our fur babies trip to Boothbay even better. THANK YOU for taking time to find the right harness and best find treats.

Very friendly staff and great popcorn! No samples due to COVID but tons of flavors and options. The Maine Maple was delicious. Would love to return.

What an amazing shop !!! I live in Maine and visit a couple times a year, would be more often if the travel wasn’t so far. Your safety is not compromised during this pandemic. They carry hard to find and unusual items. The prices are reasonable. High quality merchandise and Knowledgeable staff make this my favorite go to shop. The feeling you get when you walk through the doors is of tranquility, comfort and happiness. Is it from the light scent of incense or the calming beautiful music playing in the background? It’s a great experience which leave feeling better then when you arrived.
