We had such a good experience here and it started when went for walk and I asked if I could book a table for an hour later. That was ok. And we had a perfct table on the first floor at 7.30 p.m.The also serve food putside on the ground floor but we decided as tourists thst it would be really nice woth the view from above. We had the real wienerschnitzel with pommes and on the side ketchup and mayonnaise. It was really nice and a big portion. The service was nice and kind and we felt very welcome and appreciated as guests during our visit. It was a sunday and they were very busy and had been all day since the weather was very warm and summerly.

Nice atmosphere and good food with really good service. A nice feature is that kids under 4 eat for free! The service was quick, the food tasty, the price normal for the area and the atmosphere pleasant.

Had the wurst and pommes frites and sure wasn't disappointed. Great service from a nice waitress even though the place was very busy. Food came out pretty quick and was excellent. Always try the local wurst specialties as we travel thru Germany. Would go back again and don't hesitate in recommending the place for a good meal

Very busy place and booking is strongly recommended - though if 8pm or later is ok then you shouldn't have too much trouble. Entering through a huge heavy door is dramatic and the sight that greets you is wunderbar. Cosy, noisy, bustle, great lighting, interesting spaces - it's impressive. Walk across the first space and up a few steps to find the maitre d who was very efficient with the enormous reservations list - alles in ordnung hier!Good food, very reasonably priced and mostly locals enjoying themselves. What more could you want? Christopher Thum
Instead of the restaurant close by, I recommend this Biergarten. Beer is good, food is good, just too much vinegar - well, Franken style. Sometimes you have to wait quite a bit for your food, and as non-german, you will have probably a problem to realize if your food is ready already. But, solid 4 points.

We stayed here for two nights and had dinner in the garden restaurant the first night. The weather was perfect and it was very busy, also a saturday night. We had some lovely food, we took their steak, argentinian beef and it was really nice.We took salad as a side dish, as it was really niceThe steak cooked to perfection, and we had a lovely bottle of red wine, Dormina to go with it, a nice choice.Staff very friendly. We would definitely come back and eat here again.

The pulse of Franconia beats in the heart of Wuerzburg. You can feel it ? Or rather taste it - in the historic surroundings of the Stachel, which is a restaurant and wine bar. As a wine bar, the Stachel offers the best wines in Franconia. There is wine ta
I am still dreaming of the wine soup and can't wait to return to Wurzburg to have it again! This place was worth the wait - we arrived without a reservation and had to return a half hour late. The staff were very pleasant the ambiance was wonderful in this old historic building. Great selection of local wines as well.

This small restaurant feels like entering a different dimension and time, quirky and arty, they don't have a printed list, but a passionate and competent friendly guy who speaks good english, guiding you through the dishes of the day and recommending wines to suit your taste and the choice of food you made. Food and wine were delicious, we also bought a bottle of the wine I had to take home. Reasonable prices for the quality.Long ago! But thank you very much! Hope we See use sometime again! You Tiopolinos!

An old town house converted to a restaurant, making a very pleasant dining location. A limited menu (available in English) offered dishes of seasonal local produce with a twist, and wines were suggested with dishes. Superb service from a team of girls, who spoke excellent English. Located opposite our hotel, so extremely convenient. Highly recommended.. open from 6pm, and very busy.
