I stayed here overnight with my two daughters in December 2016. The host, Frau Wild, was wonderful and very welcoming. And as for the food, well, my 8-year-old loved my main course so much that I ended up having to eat her Kindermenu. She's asked that we go back there for her birthday next year (rather than going to our regular family hotel !)As for the room, it was perfectly warm, clean, and big enough for the 3 of us. Great food (and wine & beer !) and hospitality, and highly recommended.Oh, and there's a Lidl and a supermarket 5 minutes walk away.Hello UncleMikeAgainWe were very pleased to have you and your lovely daughters with us. We are also very pleased that you felt comfortable with us and you liked our food. We hope you and the girls are fine, we would be very pleased to see you again. Take carebest regardsRuth Wild & "SchöpPerle"-Team

This restaurant is located near the top of a black forest mountain (hill). Great view into the valley. The menu offers a wide selection. The daily lunch sets are reasonably priced. service was excellent.

He had a hearty meal at this traditionally decorated restaurant. The owners are a very friendly couple who really care a lot about their guests. It was a very pleasant and warm stay on a cold and rainy evening. All in all, very good value for the money.

I had the (rather good) risotto, but both my dining companions raved about the trout.Pleasant airy dining room, with friendly Italian waiting staff. Quite full (Saturday night), but service was surprisingly prompt (just as well, as we were in a hurry). It serves pizza (and pasta), but it's not *just* a pizzeria.

This restaurant next to a Hotel has the best Pizza in town, full of flavour and packed with peppers, meat, cheese etc. The service is also very good. it is not in the town centre but it is worth the walk. No views and best to eat inside. Out of a 4 night stay we ate here 3 times!.

If one is looking for German Gemütlichkeit, he will hit the nail right on its head in this ancient house with its very good kitchen. We sat on the nice roofterracce on a blueskied sunday with a perfect view to the monastery of St.Blasien, where some swiss alphorn-blowers played their Instruments with skills. We were totally happy with everything and had a great lunch meal with asparagus on sauce hollandaise. The service was perfect and very friendly. The historical building is right in the heart of a cosy little Black-Forest-City with rivers streaming through.
Good local food, very affordable. Love their salad dressing. Very and accommodating friendly staff. Roesti nice, but sometimes could be a bit crispier

This is situated a short 5 minute walk uphill from the centre and underneath the Hotel Bellevue. The Spanish owner/chef and his son were very friendly. The menu is varied- Spanish tapas, German food and pizza. I had a tasty pizza and before that I was given (free) delicious olives and bread and aioli. Definitely recommended.

From the outside the restaurant does not look incredibly inviting. However the interior does not look like much either. Why go here? Go for the food and the friendly down to earth honest service. This restaurant has a heart and a soul. A good menu everything is cooked from scratch. The staff is extremely well trained. Personal wishes are fulfilled. This time I enjoyed the wild garlic (Bärlauch) maultaschen. Delicious and well made. he wild garlic soup was good perphas a little less salt for my tasting but all together this was really good. Just wine selection is not spectacular but hey I love good honest cooking! more info on traubenliebe.comHello Traubenliebe, thank you for the good Review.Peter Zorzytzki
