Alles hier ist irgendwie ganz nett: Das Essen, kein Grund zu Beanstandungen aber auch ohne viel Liebe gemacht und praesentiert, das nette Haus, eine ehemalige Muehle, ganz passabel, aber es koennte so viel mehr sein, der Biergarten, ganz OK, aber kein Highlight, weder von der Gestaltung her, noch von der Moeblierung oder Bepflanzung. Was uns an diesem Abend wirklich sehr gut gefallen hat, war der herzliche, liebenswerte und korrekte Service einer jungen Dame/Bedienung. Sehr gut. Vielen Dank!

Bereits seit den neunziger Jahren ist das Café Sturmwind ein fester Begriff im Saarland. Nicht nur Motorradliebhaber sondern auch Familien und Pärchen geben sich hier die Klinke in die Hand.Der wird Marcel ist wirklich einmalig. Er ist Gastronom durch und durch und ist besonders um die Qualität der Küche bedacht. Wenn man mal zufällig hier in Ensdorf sein sollte lohnt sich ein Blick auf jeden Fall hinein, man darf aber auch gerne absichtlich hier herkommen.

We came in late on a Sunday noon but a table just came open and we were pleasantly surprised of the experience. We had good starters (Spargelsuppe - it was the season) and a good chateau briand. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. We were not left unattended for a minute and all of that for a price which is quit reasonable. A good stop if you have some time to enjoy good food.

Exceptional place to eat. Very laid back. Beer brewed in-house, some of the best we had during our visit to Germany. Outdoor dining, felt like a backyard picnic.

Das ist jetzt kein Witz: So einen herrlich gut gewürzten Fleischspieà hab ich in Deutschland noch nie gegessen. Auch sonst ist die Qualität hervorragend, knusprige, dünne Pommes, frischer Salat. Die Käsesuppe heià und gut gewürzt. Die Preise sind für die gebotene Qualität absolut in Ordnung. Absolut empfehlenswert

Hier kocht der Senoir (angeblich über 80) noch selbst und das kann sich noch immer sehen lassen.Es gab Schlachtfestgericht unser Freund erfreute sich sehr über die LeberklöÃe & Sauerkraut.Auch die Sülze war sehr gut, wobei die Bratkartoffel doch sehr weià waren.Miesmuscheln waren mehr als üppig und sehr frisch.Der Service war auch schon etwas betagter, aber schneller als manch junger Service in der Stadt !!

Had a good Sunday lunch here after going to the flea-market. Service is good. Had asparagus and they were properly cooked. An enjoyable lunch. Nothing to be said. Priced correctly.

We had lunch in this restaurant on our weekend visit to Saarlouis and had chose it because of the rating on Tripadvisor. The interior is ok, the food nice, the service fast and friendly and it is quite cheap especially considering the portions you get. There is nothing negative to be said about it, however I will not give it 5 out of 5 because it is not refined in any way...nice food but nothing special at all...if you just fancy lunch, go for it, but don't go there if you fancy a lovely dinner on a special occasion.

We were looking for some good, traditional German food and were not disappointed by Schitzelhaus (which is the same resaurant as the higher rated Kartoffelhaus). The portions were sizeable, as was the taste. The dishes are based around a nice schnitzel, a mound of frite, and a large (delicious) salad ... all at a great price.
