This place checks all the boxes. My cousins husband reserved a table for 8 for dinner and everything from start to finish was amazing. We were seated near the front window overlooking the Mosel.Mr. Georg was our guy in charge and poured the best wines for each of our entrees. The chef is wonderful and creates great dishes, and everything that came out of the kitchen was a work of art.Started out with Creme Brulee of Goose Liver, then a cous cous dish, smoked filet of salmon, salad with the freshest tomatoes and sunflower seeds, braised ox, a selection of cheeses and a dessert to die for....everything was scrumptious and all came with a selection of wine. All this was thanks for my cousins husband who worked with the chef and Mr. Georg, and we all were ever grateful for the work they put into this meal. The atmosphere of Belle Epoque is beautiful, with art nouveau touches, a very grand dining experience!

With an "award winning" but very down to earth chef, Johannes, the food at Restaurant Zum Lenze Hennes is excellent and always interesting and of best quality! We enjoyed our Wiener Schnitzel - real one from veal - and Rumpsteak both with superb side dishes.Do leave room for a desert!!With Pils and Wiezenbier on draft and a range of Lenz and local wines to accompany the meal, this is THE place to eat in the area!!

Even though not with a view over the river, this restaurant offers honest and good food for a very decent price. The outside covered terras actually is a nice change compared to the river views. We were expecting that the place would not be very busy, but in fact the place was full, so the reservation was a good choice. The staff is very friendly and very much involved in ensuring everything is OK. We had the chicken with cheese and the roast beef with spatzle. Both dishes were very rich & tasty. Honest good food for good prices.
Eenvoudig hotel/restaurant met een leuk terras aan de Mosel waar eenvoudige maar typisch Duitse gerechten worden geserveerd. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras is mooi en de bediening vriendelijk.

We came here for a dinner on a last minute call and when the restaurant was full. We still got a nice place, excellent food from a la carte, good wine and a pleasant waitress. We enjoyed.

The most formal restaurant that we ate in in Puenderich. The food was good if a little pricey and not particularly original, and the setting is attractive. It was let down by slow and slightly unfriendly service by young girls who didn't seem to have been trained well.
I stayed at Hotel Reiler Hof for five days, two of the days attending a large Moselle wine festival, and had dinner at Heim's Restaurant three times during my stay.First night I had a 3 course Frühlingsmenu (32 EUR):- Cremesuppe vom Spargel (Cream of Asparagus Soup)- Geschmort Kalbsbäckchen (Braised Veal Roast)- Crème BrülléeThe asparagus soup was really tasty and very elegant. A chef's masterpiece. The veal roast and the crème brûllée were also really delicious. The wine list is really impressive and will leave any Mosel wine enthusiast in a mouthwatering dilemma while chosing between the long list of carefully selected Mosel wines. The Heim family, owning the hotel as well as the restaurant, hereby certainly display their interest in - and dedication to - the Moselle wines. The wines recommended by the sommelier were really nice and paired the dishes very well. The second night I decided to enjoy a large dish:- Frischer Stangenspargel mit Sauce Hollandaise, Salzkartoffeln und Kalbsschnitzel (30,90 EUR). The green asparagus were cooked to perfection, and the sauce and the traditional German veal steak were excellent as well.I enjoyed half a bottle of Melsheimer Riesling, and it was really nice. The third night I simply had to order the Cream of Asparagous soup (7.50 EUR) that I had first night once again - and it was eaqually as tasty once again. As a main dish I had a traditional German Jägerschnitzel (15.90 EUR). I chose to drink a glass of Melsheimer MOLUN trocken from the famous Molun vineyard just outside Reil, and it was really nice as well.At Heim's Restaurant the focus is on taste and high quality ingredients, which I tend to prefer as opposed to nitty-gritty and complicated gourmet arrangements on the plate.

The restaurant staff is great, very Friendly! The food is very tasty. Apart from the typical German pork, snitzel, etc, you can eat some nice pasta's as well. Both the interieur of the restaurant and the terrace are pleasant! It is better to make a reservation, because it can become quite busy some times!

We arrived past 8 o'clock in the evening and we're tired and hungry. Frau Wagner recommended us the restaurant and it was quite a nice surprise. Nice view over the Mosel, romantic ambiance. Delicious German food and nice wine (sweet red wine and very sweet dessert wine). Not very detailed menu, but that was not necessary. Lovely waitress who also tried to speak English and was patient when we tried speaking German. It was not cheap but also not that expensive (70â¬, 1 course, wine and water)

An average place on the Mosel River. We had a light lunch there recently. The food did not come on a timely basis. The servers were friendly enough. The salad we ordered had way too much dressing. The FederweiÃer wasn't very tasty either. It is a nice room and ambience. Given the competition this is an average place that could do better.
