Gostei muito, boa cerveja, comida boa e fresca, fui muito bem atendido. O restaurante tem bom ambiente e indico a todos. Vale a pena. O custo achei caro, pois ganho em real e pago em euro.

Marvellous atmosphere inside and outside. The Service was well prepared to handle a group of twenty persons. We ate a limited "a la carte - menu" - very delicious. Meals for children were also perfectly tuned for the small ones.

Waldhaus Reissig

The staff at theatre cafe were extremely helpful and flexible when I was trying to organise a lunch for over 20 family members. They set aside a special function area, beautifully located at the side of the cafe with access to the outdoor eating area. The food was great value, a wide range of choices, and delicious. Great ambience, location and value for money.

Before the war, Cafe Tromel was one of the prime social centers in Plauen, with dining, cafe, rooftop terrace, orchestra, dancing, bowling, etc. Plauen had 120K population and people from all over, including Hof, would come to Plauen and enjoy everything Cafe Tromel has to offer. As it did not fit into the "socialist picture," it was torn down after the war. After the reunification, a very small nostalgia-type cafe was opened on the Klostermarkt. The breakfast offerings are wonderful, their cakes are wonderful, and the service is good. Outdoor dining on the Klostermarkt is also available (albeit smoking is allowed outside).

Hier regional kein Fehler.

We visited looking for good beer and local cuisine and weren't disappointed. However the night we visited was extremely busy and we wound up sharing a table with another couple. If we ever go again we will make a reservation in advance. We sat outside and the atmosphere was very nice.

Heinrich's was an awesome surprise for a group of friends and me while we were on a road trip through Germany recently. The outdoor seating Plauen's square gave us a beautiful setting for our meal. The wait staff were also really kind with us as struggled to order in German. Everyone's food was delicious and portions were reasonable. Schnitzel and chicken offerings had the highest marks from our group. Heinrich's interior is also well worth a little of your time. Situated in the cellar/foundation of the old church, it has beautiful stonework, a charming bar, and even a two lane bowling alley!

The part of the restaurant I ate had a very beatiful arched ceiling. The menu had a varied choice. Was hard to choose from. When the food arrived it turned ouyt to be in massive volumes. For example a Schnitsel the size of an A4. Pity that the group I ate with was being served in shifts. Half of the guest were almost ready when the other half had yet to be served.
