Wonderful restaurant within the Ansbach Court Gardens. Beautiful building and gardens. Great traditional fare German food. They have unbelievable desserts.Good service, great food and a delightful location. The gardens were in full colour during the last days of August. The gardens empty. Amazing sculptures, fountains and walk ways.
German & American friends came here (with dog) for a relaxed, good dinner. The menu is on chalkboards & our number was called our schnitzels were ready. Just wonderful traditional German fare. Drinks were purchased from a stand on the other side. We sat at outdoor permanent picnic-type tables. I believe there was inside seating near the drinks stand. It was just fun & good! Parking was at the top of the hill & there were steps or a steep hill to get down to the restaurant. There was a play area for children set up on the hill.

The food here is excellent german food, Schnitzels, Cordon Bleus, Steaks, Schweine Braten etc... and their specials are excellent. Don't expect to run in and expect fast food as all the food is individually prepared. Reservations are probably a good idea as the place isiusually full by 6 PM

It's been probably 14 years that I had a Schaeufele, but it still is the benchmark of how the world's best Schaeufele has to taste! An absolute must-visit if you are in or near Ansbach. Want to visit a real German "Wirtshaus"? Go and check it out, prices are absolutely fair, the look it original, and the menu has many other local specialties. But, bring a healthy appetite, it's soooo worth it!!

The Lehenshof, in the centre of Ansbachâs pedestrian old town, has clearly been around for a long time, and has a cosy, charming interior, with traditional German booth seating. Also an outdoor seating area.We enjoyed excellent schnitzels, draught Kulmbach pilsener, well-chilled white wine, coffee and a Jägermeister. Friendly service from our waiter who agreed to vary what was offered on the menu to suit our preferences (from chips with one of our schnitzels to (very good) potato salad).Bill for two came to â¬42.20.
The "Kammerkneipe" restaurant and bar is located in the local concert and cabaret venue "Kammerspiele". We serve delicous burgers with homemade buns and local beef. You'll also find a range of pizza, fingerfood, local beer and other drinks on the menu.
We tasted veggie, angus, chicken and different fries, all is freshly made and well cooked. The waitress was good advice. A place to go with friends or family!

I had a wonderful dinner at the hotels restaurant. It was a little pricey, but a very good dinner. The staff was very nice and spoke english when they heard my poor German. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The Ansbacher Gasthaus "Zum Mohren" stands for the Franconian host family tradition. The furnishing of the rooms spreads cosiness with a homely accent. The traditional menu is characterized by hearty delicacies such as Schäufele with potato dumpling, Ansb

The food was very good. The view is wonderful if you sit outside! It is in the heart of downtown Nuremberg. It is a very busy restaurant so things might take a bit longer than anticipated. Every time I have been here it has been a satisfactory experience.

Fresh Breeze behind Old Walls: Ansbach was not even named in 11th Century, when the Ground Walls of Schwarzer Bock had been erected. This very important piece of Ansbach history with Centuries of Hospitality keeps the flame burning for us to keep the old
I have eaten here many times and each time the food was superb. It is rare when I find a restaurant that truly inspires me to return. I have had Roulades, Wurst, Shaufele, and other dishes. All were cooked perfectly. As good as they were the sides were just as good and complimented the main dishes well. The service is always great. The waiter explained dishes in detail and was always accommodating. It is my "Go To" restaurant in Ansbach! Thank you so much for reviewing our restaurant!
