Service was good. Nice range of cakes to go with good coffee. The cafe itself is rather stark but comfortable enough. A nice place to relax after (or before!) going to the adjacent Domkirche (cathedral) and museum.

The cheeseburger meat was gray and barely warm. It tasted pre frozen. The french fries were mushy. Disappointing dinner. The service was barely adequate. Dear Ted K, sorry for our delayed answer! Lokal oferuje w zasadzie sznycle plus saÅatki i inne typowo niemieckie potrawy, w zasadzie wydaje siÄ Å¼e jedzenie jest tylko dodatkiem do piwa. ObsÅuga raczej powolna, czekaliÅmy ok 15 min. na podejÅcie kelnera (który byÅ jednoczeÅnie barmanem, wiÄc chyba w tym byÅ problem). Jedzenie jest Åredniawe, ale zjadliwe (choÄ na stole nie byÅo nawet soli żeby frytki posoliÄ), piwo zimne i Åwieże. Lokal raczej pusty jak caÅy Merseburg. Chyba sa lepsze miejsca w okolicy ale byliÅmy bardzo gÅodni i nie chciaÅo nam siÄ szukaÄ.

Ein lohnenswertes Restaurant gerade weil man die Wahl hat zwischen Karte und Buffet. Die Speisen schmecken in dem schönen Ambiente noch mal so gut und man hat einen guten Blick auf den Gotthardteich. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und flink.

Von auÃen vermutet man nicht, was einen innen erwartet - es ist wirklich sehr gemütlich und einladend. Das Personal war super freundlich.Unser Essen war sehr schmackhaft. Besonders die KlöÃe waren einfach klasse!

Der Merseburger Rabe liegt etwas auÃerhalb des Zentrums an einem Sportplatz am Rande eines Wohngebiets. Man sollte daher kein historisches Lokal erwarten. Es erinnert eher an ein Vereinslokal. Was allerdings sehr positiv überrascht hat, war die Qualität des Essens, die das eines Vereinslokals deutlich übertrifft. Uns wurde ein Gedicht von einem Wildschweinbraten mit Pfifferlingen serviert. Auch der Service sehr freundlich. Daher Daumen gestreckt nach oben!

I have been to the restaurant twice. On the first occasion there were ca 10 people of which one was fluent in German and for the rest it varied between no fluency to rudimentary. We felt the waitress to be rather unaccommodating in finding a big enough table. I ordered the so called "Organ Feast according to JS Bach" but on the second occasion ordered the "Pan 'Gamekeeper' " which looked remarkably similar to the dish of the first night. On the second night the group was smaller with nobody fully fluent in German but the waitress made it a pleasant experience. The restaurant was conveniently located from the hotel.

We were travelling through the German country side and stop this hotel over night Sky hotel and went into the restaurant called Rabennest on the top floor over looking the town . The restaurant setting is five star, the food , the waiter Marcus, and ambients if unbelievable. This has been the best restaurant I have ever been in Europe.
