The place is characteristic, it seems an old tavern. They sells they own products such as wind and salami, speck. The personell is gentle and dressed is Sudtyrol style. The food is good, I recommend Canederli and Mosto (that is the grape juice that will become wine after fermentation). The location is nice, you have a beautiful view on the valley. The place is not recommended for family.

The Falger is a restaurant situated in the heart of the small village of Vollen (Foiana) in the heart of the South Tyrol region, it is very close to Lana and in between Merano and BolzanoAs you enter the place you are welcomed by a really setting, a delightful marriage of antique cut brichs and elegant modernity. Sitting in any table you have a wonderful view of the dining room. They also have a very nice outdoor terrace with grapes,The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering dishes. I had the Ravioli with Mushrooms while my wife tried the Kaiserschmarrn. They were both exquisite. It all was followed by a delicious strudel served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert. All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. The chefs take great care in selecting the best quality ingredients. The service did accompany the high quality of the cooking. Waitresses were friendly, helpful and very attentive. One of the owners was always around willing to exchange some kind words with all her clients. The price is very good value for money I had a pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours. For this reason we did went back and I highly recommend going to the Falger restaurant.

We came for dinner to this freshly renovated restaurant in brewery style in the heart of Lana. Modern interior and good Bavarian kitchen and beer The place to be if you prefer Southern German lifestyle, especially during summer at the outside beergarten. All service personnel was very friendly and attentive. Food came in very large portions and tasted excellent. Is this a helpful review? If you are not a local you might not know about Restaurant Krebsbach. Hidden in the village of Lana, Italy is an amazing restaurant that has a trout hatchery. You can order off the menu or catch your own, take it home or have it prepare in the restaurant. After dinner go out and sit on the benches around the pond stocked with trout, so relaxing, it doesn't get better than that!

We stopped here for lunch after a pleasant stroll along the Brandeis Waalweg. The restaurant has amazing views over the Etsch valley. Service was friendly and efficient and as it was not very busy the waiter was able to practice his English with us. We had a really tasty apfel strudel each with apfelschorle to drink. A very pleasant place to sit and relax.

A nice local restaurant with earthy local food at reasonable prices. The restaurant seems to have two rooms, I found the first one a bit dark and austere , whilst the second one, more towards the back, was much lighter and more inviting. My asparagus with ham, potatoes was delicious. All very fresh. The open house white was very drinkable too!

Indeed excellent service and dining. The meal was delicious, plentiful and very reasonably priced.Waiters and waitresses were super friendly and indeed interested in your dialog. Super fast service, the meal was served in a flash.1 minor drawback was the cost of an additional salad of 4 Euros. The waiter made sure though that I really wanted that.
