Had an excellent meal here in the recently renovated restaurant. I had the asparagus soup and the veal with asparagus for my main. It was outstanding as was the service. Best restaurant that I have eaten at in Burgwedel in 10 years !!Dear Guest,many thanks for your great Feedback. Before it got the Michelin star this was our favorite place. However, with the star they went over-board price-wise. Kokenhof offers (almost) the same quality at less than half the price. What is more, Elfrun Kühn, the owner, shares gossip about her guests with everyone, after we had found about that we don't go there anymore.

Wir waren an einem Sonntagabend im Walk-In. Die sehr schöne Terasse (über den Tennisplätzen) war zu gut einem Viertel besetzt. An einem anderen Tisch saÃen Gäste mit Hunden, was scheinbar kein Problem ist. Uns hat es jedenfalls nicht gestört. Leider gab es keine Burger mehr (Sonntag ist Burgertag und diese wurden an diesem Tag wohl sehr gut angenommen). Die alternative Wahl (Schnitzel und Steak) hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und wurde frisch zubereitet. (Definitiv keine TK und keine Friteuse). Auch das Konzept der Beilagenwahl hat uns gefallen (Es gab diverse Möglichkeiten). Der Service war freundlich aber ein klein bischen unaufmerksam (Leere Gläser von den Vorgästen wurden erst spät abgeräumt). Zum Ende waren wir die letzten Gäste. Als Abschluà wollten wir noch einen Espresso, doch die Maschine war schon gereinigt. Dieses wurde sehr freundlich erklärt und ich glaube, wenn wir darauf bestanden hätten, hätte man die Maschine wieder aktiviert. Alles in allem ein solides und leckeres Essen für eine Sportgaststätte.

Already submitted my review in the Amadeus >Hotel and restaurant site. What is shown above in the photo looks good and appetizing (That's how it should be really). What I was served was another story. The breaded coating was peeling off the meat (coated a day before) the potato wedges were dried and burnt. As for the beef burger, dry and burnt. Complete disaster..

Became a regular when in town... I appreciate the consistent high quality of the food, especially the meat. They offer different cuts and, if you wish, customized weight. Always something different on the menu to try. Shout out to Conrad and Melissa: really friendly and professional service(!)- yet casual atmosphere with a mixed business/leisure/visiting mostly local crowd. Modern and inviting ambiance. Learned to call ahead and make a reservation.

Die Familientradition führt uns immer wieder einmal ins Gasthaus Dehne. Getreu dem Motto " was gestern gut war, kann heute nicht schlecht sein ". Leider kann ich das nicht bestätigen. Immer Sonntags gibt es Auswahl von ca. 6-7 Menüs, bestehend aus Suppe, Hauptspeise und Nachtisch. Dies sollte der Küche die Möglichkeit bieten sich optimal auf die zahlenden Gäste einzustellen. Festtagssuppe war ok, dann die Hauptspeisen ( Jägerschnitzel, Schollenfilet, Kalbsleber, Schweinemedallions, Putenschnitzel und gemischter Grillteller. ) Wie man liest alles deftige Gerichte und keine Salate, Steaks oder sonstige Alternativen aber gut wir haben es ja vorher gewusst. Wir bestellen Jägerschnitzel, klein und ganz schlecht mit Kroketten und Champignons und einer InstantsoÃe. Schollenfilet zum gruseln, Geschmacksneutral und dann die Leber. Etwas zu durch und mit Pfifferlingen und handwarmem Kartoffelstampf. Jetzt zu den Preisen: Jäger = 17,- , Leber = 22,- und die Scholle = 26,-!!!!!Der Nachtisch bestand aus einer Mousse, kann mir nicht vorstellen dass die selbst gemacht war, mit Schokotaler, wie vor 30 Jahren. Service ganz ok aber schlecht vorbereitet da wir drauÃen aÃen und bei Temperaturen um die 30 Grad noch keine Schirme aufgestellt waren, an keinem Tisch. Wer also Nostalgie mag muss zudem " drinnen " essen da paÃt das Ambiente auch zum Essen. Sorry aber das war nix. Dennoch werden wir wohl wieder kommen, denn Tradition verpflichtet.

In Germany for the Hannover Truck show and decided to stay out in the country side! We have been in Austria for a week and now doing a week in Germany and I was seriously craving a home cooked meal. We went to Voltmers Hof on recommendation from our Hotel and was more than pleasantly surprised! The staff was very accommodating as we cant speak or understand the language and the whole menu was in Germany but they explained it as best they could and made recommendations! We could not have had a better meal and was more than satisfied with the restaurant!! I will definitely recommend it and be back if possible!!

A cosy restaurant, which also had the wooden fire place working on our visit. I had a potatoe soup, which was very tasty but lacked the taste of potatoes.Main course was Schnitzel which was cooked well and accompanied by roasted potatoes.Unfortunately we went through 3 waitresses during our service and although they were friendly, I missed the competency and lack of advice on our meal choice. Price wise, I would say on the higher end.
