Beckers is three blocks east of the Lister Meile Ubahn stop, just two stops north of the Hauptbahnhof. It's in a nice old building on the corner, with large windows overlooking the street and some outdoor seating. I only tolerate German food, but Beckers does a good job with it. I had the fixed four-course menu, which featured a lot of asparagus in April. The appetizer with smoked salmon was excellent, and the soup was nice and balanced. The main course and dessert were rather bland and not even that creative, but as I said, I'm not a reliable critic of German food. The interior is lovely, the atmosphere relaxed, the clientele genteel, and the service very good. Menus are available in English. There is a nice selection of wines and cocktails: they actually occupy more of the menu, which is a bit more limited in food choices. There is at least one vegetarian option per course, a rarity in Germany. All in all, worth visiting and certainly if you like the local cuisine.

I was taken here by my colleagues whilst attending a trade fair at the Hannover Messe. The restaurant was very busy with a variety of different group sizes, so there was a very good atmosphere. The food on offer is traditional southern German based around Spatzle (German egg noodles). For starters I had Potato and Carrot soup which was slightly spiced and served with German bread. For main I had vegetable Spatzle with Turkey in a gorgonzola sauce. The two courses were very good. I enjoyed the noodles and would recommend the Spatzle Haus to anyone visiting Hannover.

Buenas tardes,Wanted to inform the net about something incredible that hapenned yesterday to me in Reilmanns Eck. Essen was very nice, no complaint. With the bill came the surprise: a jar of tapwater was charged to 5,5â¬. Water bottles have been always expensive in Germany (more than beer), but this is next level. If order water, always bottled one!!!

We had a five course dinner and believe me, we ate all, to the last bit. The carrot and duck breast were yummy. Every dish was pleasing to the eye and palate. The dessert was ever so pretty like a constellation of stars on a shiny plate. Most in our group knew no German, and the staff took the trouble to explain each dish in English. Care was given to the dishes presented to my pregnant niece - out came the caviar and in went the cucumber, a bit boring though. In all it was a sweet experience, just like the honey and nought.

Welcome to the Brauhaus Ernst August Northern Germany's most successful microbrewery. We have provided the most varied offerings in the city at the heart of Hanover since 1986: whether it be a freshly-brewed beer, a varied dining experience, a sociable br
In my opinion one of the best choices in Hannover. Good food, good drinks, sometimes live music. The staff is kind and quick and prices correct (portions very generous. Just pls. consider that they wonât accept reservations and this local is very popular...Dear Sja742015, thank you for your visit and the great feedback. A lovely traditional German bar. The dark beer (Dunkel Bier) is a must!!! Our food was incredible. Delivered quickly by very attentive German efficiency. We had suckling pigglet - incredible. And a veggie main of wild mushrooms - also outstanding! Would definitely recommend if you are after an authentic German experience.

This is a nice German pub with "gutburgerliche Kuche", means schnitzel, grunkohl, currywurst and other German dishes. The beer on tap is Herrenhauser, a local brewery. Although it was abit crowded, we were invited to sit at a round table, gathering with others, what is not bad., the noise is limited, so you can talk to your comrades in a reasonable sound level. The meals were nice and in good portion. This is a famous Hanover Kneipe and definitely Il be there next time again.Ahh, they also have an English menu!

We love the food here. We had 5 family members, beers were nothing out of this world. We had the Knuckle Pork , chicken schnitzel & burger. Great meals & flavor, great portions as well. The one things we did not like was the slow service, it was mostly one female server, in typical European fashion, not much to talk, here is your meal, period. The place was simple, yet good for a family meal. Dear guest, thank you for the feedback. Best, your Bavarium-Team

Qualität ist unsere Leidenschaft! Block House steht für eine gesunde, ausgewogene Ernährung & höchste Qualität.
The setting is nice. They are friendly. German efficiency in attention and service. Not cheap but for downtown acceptable. However, the beef is terrible. My Ribeye was chewy (I requested medium rare) and not tasty at all. Needs a steak sauce. Like deep frozen walking dead. No idea why people review this place among the Hanoverâs best.

Became a regular when in town... I appreciate the consistent high quality of the food, especially the meat. They offer different cuts and, if you wish, customized weight. Always something different on the menu to try. Shout out to Conrad and Melissa: really friendly and professional service(!)- yet casual atmosphere with a mixed business/leisure/visiting mostly local crowd. Modern and inviting ambiance. Learned to call ahead and make a reservation.
