We came on the off chance that we would find something to eat and were delighted to discover this lovely restaurant. The food is traditionally German and is unpretentious and delicious. Having said that, the restaurant is elegant and welcoming with gorgeous views over the Baltic Sea

Und nur das würde helfen. Das Restaurant gibt es schon mehrere Jahre nicht mehr und das habe ich vor längerer Zeit auch übermittelt und eine Löschungsankündigung bekommen. Leider hat das nicht geholfen.

Nice traditional food with both sea-food and meat (local source). Very friendly service. Good vaule and nice to sit and view the old castle.

Direkt am klitzekleinem Ostsee-Hafen, nahe Westerholz, Blick über ein paar Fischerboote und Yachten, ein schön schlichtes Panorama. Gleich dahinter der lange Sandstrandstreifen, der sich längsseits der Flensburger Förde erstreckt. Man sitzt - wenn man Glück hat - in einem der bunten Strandkörbe vor dem Fisch-Bistro oder - mit weniger Glück - auf gestapelten Kisten unmittelbar am Pier. Aber immerhin ist man beim Essen nicht auf Glück angewiesen. Es gibt nur Volltreffer: einfach, aber lecker - frischen Fisch, frischen Fisch, frischen Fisch. Natürlich kann man auch Fischbrötchen wählen, die Fischfrikadellen oder die Krabben. Und immer ein Flens dazu! Wahlweise groà oder klein! Beim Odinfischer ist Self-Service angesagt. Ein bisschen Imbiss-Flair und viele nette Leute. Für die Einheimischen und die Touristen ist der Odinfischer eine Kultstätte.Für uns mittlerweile auch! Die Preise: schleswig-holstein-typisch verbraucherfreundlich! Aber allein hier zu sitzen und den Ausblick zu genieÃen, das wäre uns das Geld schon wert. Fazit: klare Empfehlung !

Had a six course gourmet dinner, plus extras, and accompanying wine menu. The meals fully met our expectations for a well trasting dinner. It was not as experimental as you may see in a lot of restaurants these years, but was simply one of the best tasting experiences I have had in a long time.

This restaurant was a great find, my husband and I were staying a couple of days in Gluecksburg and stumbled across it, The service was fantastic, the food so good that when we revisited the area with other Australian friends we took them back there. Our friends were as impressed as we were with the food, atmosphere and service, great job. I wish you were closer to home, however you made our visit to your lovely area memorable.
