bestellt und alles sehr schnell geliefert, z.T. gibt es arge Verständigungsschwierigkeiten. Das Kapitänsfrühstück habe ich leider komplett nicht vertragen, werden zukünftig diese Location meiden und ein Haus weitergehen.

Very delicious dinner in an exclusive location.Menu offered a range of exclusive and interesting dishes. Wine menu was comparably short dut offered some good choices for every situation.

Einen Abend sind wir aufgrund der klasse Bewertungen hier eingekehrt und wurden ebenfalls nicht enttäuscht. Das Lokal ist sehr hundefreundlich, hat einen Anbau im zeitgemäÃen Ambiente. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut organisiert und der Service freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Speisen waren vorzüglich, frisch zubereitet und sehr schmackhaft, ansprechend angerichtet. Es war ein gelungener Abend und wir werden bestimmt beim nächsten Aufenthalt wieder hier einkehren - eine klare Empfehlung!

Stonner on the beach offers delicious snacks - a wonderful shrimp soup, a sandwich with a thick layer of small shrimps. Fish, Sausage, black bread with matjes - perfect service, good prices and a list of beers, wine and hot and cold drinks. A range of sweet cakes and also coffee and tea. Buckthorn berry tea and juice. On the beach are a dozen of these simple snack bars, but Stonner is really excellent - fast - friendly and worth to go for a break after and before you walk the seafront of Borkum.Thanks a lot for this wonderfull Rating. I only tried a cake and coffee - both excellent. It is homemade and a combination of recipes for Kuchen from different parts - Alsatian Apple Pie, Cherry Chocolate without Gluten, Blueberry Cheese Cake. Food looks great, prices are economic. Such a pleasant place - a place to visit and enjoy. Highly recommended.

We usually get here on our way to/from Ostland after walking/hiking or riding a bike/horse. It is a good stop to recharge your batteries by sitting outside and enjoying some Sanddorn cake or other sweets the Café offers.Family-friendly, room for many bikes to park (not horses, mind; they should be brought back to stable before going to the Café).Situated only a short walk from the beach, you can even come here along the waterline (best at low tide) from Ostland or the Main beach near the town centre.Prices are reasonable and food quality was good whenever we were here. The staff is usually friendly, too; during peak times (weekend + holidays) a little patience is required.All in all, have a look yourself and enjoy!

We went to the Alt Borkum to try their all you can eat lunch buffet. The staff was very friendly and the food was fantastic. I was impressed that they chose to keep the buffet smaller, and offer all fresh food. The day were were there they had spare ribs, fresh pasta dishes , fresh breaded fish, as well as many hot side dishes , a large salad bar and two fresh hot desserts. The price was extremely reasonable. They also have a large enclosed play room for parents with young children. The restaurant was very clean and beautifully decorated. We would certainly return.

Knurrhahn is a small bistro type eat in or take out restaurant. They serve fresh fish, pasta, soup and a variety of other delicious foods. They also have a Kiddie Menu, with smaller portions and non fish options, such a potato pancakes with apple sauce. The staff is very friendly and we never had to wait long for our food. It is cafeteria style, meaning you order and they call you when it is ready. They have several small tables with bar stools. We ate at Knurrhahn 4 times during out vacation and never had a bad meal.
