Charming place, very well run and full of character with extensive choice on menu, even had two gluten free cakes. Lots of outdoor seating and has children's play area. Popular with coach parties.

Nice typical hungarian german kitchen. We enjoyed it a lot! Friendly staff and hood food for very reasonable price.

We were genuinely impressed with this eatery. Being attached to a swimming pool, I wasn't expecting too much, but the service and the appearance of the food as well as the quality of the food was excellent. The other meals that other diners had also looked very good. We hand an excellent kinder schnitzel for our son, which all looked very fresh, and a soup and a salad. The soup was very well presented with a drizzle of oil and cress and carrot shards. The goats cheese salad was excellent with lots of fresh leaves, onion, carrots, tomato, chilli etc. I wouldn't have chosen to go to a restaurant next to a swimming pool, but I would definitely go there again.

Meal with family on Saturday night. Food average, ordered a second Hells beer which never arrived. Was charged â¬4,50 for 500ml of bottled water ! When i asked waiter if this was correct or even a fair price he just shrugged. Several places near which are ten times better.

Our Hotel did not have a Restaurant so we were directed here to eat.Great choice. Quite full on arrival but they made room for us. Comprehensive local menu and drinks.Typical Bavarian choices served by friendly people. Great tasting food in ample portions.Great prices too.We wished we could have returned for more another time.

(This is a review of the hotel in which the restaurant is located.)We stayed here because of a friend's event near-by and there were no practical alternatives as this "hotel" was within a walking distance from the event place. The whole place oozes the feeling of late 70's, in the not-so-good sense. The interior was dark, with all the mandatory deer heads and needle-point works, and the phone in the room still had the rotary dial. The bed had seen the best days a long time ago and now it was like quick sand: way too soft in the middle. The only modern thing visible was the flat-screen TV. For some reason, the air in the room was very wet and through that cold. We tried to air it and set the heating on, but either the radiators didn't work or the main heating valve was off. Luckily we were able to leave after the only night there, which was hopefully at the same time the last night there, too. Considering the price, the quality just isn't there.Ok, one good thing: even though there's a road passing by, the hotel is completely silent in the middle of the night, and the surroundings are completely dark. I guess you could count that as a plus.

This place is a well kept secret among locals (well, not so secret any more). It provides a very traditional Bavarian/Austrian kitchen. The recommendation is: veal and Potatoes with a pint of "Wochinger". Inside an old farmers house you get a feeling what small beerhouses really look like. Definitely worth a visit once you`re around or passing Siegsdorf!

We made our first visit to this restaurant during our stay in Bergen. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very friendly with a âlocalâ type of feeling. The owner and his staff made us feel very welcome even though my German is a little slow. The owner speaks very good English and took time to explain his menu and tell us about the surrounding area. The food is fantastic and I have ordered several different items and they have all been excellent. The food is traditional Bavarian style food and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant. Take the time to stop in. You wonât regret it.

We are a small family-run restaurant with attached hotel. Our cuisine serves fresh dishes with a French accent. All rooms are bright and comfortable. They have balcony with mountain view as well as new bathrooms with rain shower, raised toilet, hairdryer,
a contemporary interior that is well done; very tasty food, well presented, with very helpful staff (the French speaking chef from Alsae came to speak to us when he found out we spoke French), and reasonably priced especially given the high quality of the food. For example, on the chef's recommendation I tried his quiche appetizer, even though I'm usually not too crazy about it - his was excellent. Have no reservations about recommending this place
