First time boat rental and the process was easy, the crew was helpful and the experience was alot of fun. The pontoon boat was very easy to drive and our kids (5 & 7) loved cruising the lake. We stopped at one of the public islands for a picnic lunch. Our 4-hour rental was the perfect amount of time.

Nice tubes, helpful young ladies. All tubes had backs for comfort. It's worth the extra $2 for self bailing tubes (other places don't have from what i saw). I heard some other people trying to get tubes from other places & the people weren't very helpful or knowledgeable. Great fun on the river. Get life jackets for little one's. My smallest is 7 & I wouldn't have wanted him w/out a life jacket. The lower portion is easy for anyone. Upper section is more exciting, I tied & held on to my kids tube & we went down together no problem & had a blast. Came back & went again the next day. There are rapids, it's not a tube down with your beer cooler river, your beer would just be shook up & spilled on you. Though there's plenty of places to relax riverside.

We chose this place after researching all the pontoon boat rental spots on the lake, and we weren't disappointed. The dock is a little out of the way, but with the help of Google maps we found it quite easily. At first glance the place looks a little run down, but the boats are in first class shape and the cheapest rentals in the area. Tony the owner is a great guy and explained everything we needed to know about the boat and the local area, even lending us a map of the lake. If you want a nice relaxing (and affordable) day on the lake enjoying some of the nicest scenery there is around then this is the place to do it. One thing to remember - it's cash only, so don't expect to pay by card.
