Top 10 Game & Entertainment Centers in Toronto, Canada

August 27, 2021 Myesha Cogley

We've heard Toronto described as "New York City run by the Swiss," and it's true—you can find world-class theater, shopping and restaurants here, but the sidewalks are clean and the people are friendly. The best place to start is literally at the top—the CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the Western Hemisphere.

We went to BATL for a birthday party and had a blast. Hayden and Glen were great coaches and I would highly recommend it as a fun group activity. We booked 4 lanes, brought snacks and there is a full bar there. Hayden and Glen gave us some lessons and then ran a round robin for us. I’ll definitely go back and have suggested it as a fun outing for my girlfriends.

Andreas was awesome, great teacher. Friendly and helpful. Had a blast. Spent a decent time learning and then had a small competition with friends. Bring your own food, buy some drinks, enjoy. Highly recommended.

Bad Axe Throwing

Bad Axe Throwing Toronto is located in the heart of Junction area, near Runnymede & St. Clair Avenue West. We're just down the street from Walmart. We host corporate events, birthday parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties, or people looking for a fun outing with friends. It's a fun and exciting environment while learning to throw axes. Take your typical night out up a few notches by whipping perfectly sharpened axes through the air at wooden targets to challenge your precision and skill in a whole new way. You can bring your own food & drinks (this is included in your admission fee). Our Toronto facility was designed for memorable, fun-filled times because it’s where being bad is totally acceptable--and always feels good, even if your game isn’t strong. Each space includes fenced-off throwing lanes where an expert axe throwing coach will guide you on proper form and technique to really impress your friends.

We had a very good experience at Bad Axe throwing on February 22nd at walk-in time. It’s a nice welcoming place with a very pleasant smell of wood once you enter the room. The staff was very nice and accommodating, coming to us with some advices on effective throwing during our stay. Thank you for making our special family time such fun experience.

Pursuit OCR

Pursuit OCR is Canada's largest indoor obstacle course! With over 30,000 square feet of adventures inside, you'll be laughing and sweating for hours! Our facility is 18+ (unless arranged through a schoolboard arranged visit) and is designed to let adults feel like a kid again. Our obstacle course is unlike anything you've ever seen at two and a half football fields in length (750 feet/230 meters). When was the last time you got to play in a ball pit? Well we've 100,000 balls four and a half feet deep! We are also home to the first ever indoor pedal powered Drift Trike raceway! Get your Super Mario Kart on and pedal your way around our separate raceway (included with admission) winding your way under our obstacle course! Also onsite is a free mini arcade when you need to catch your breath. If you're looking for a fun fitness based outing, you're coming to the right place!

My first thoughts when I stepped in Pursuit OCR (Etobicoke) was that they have the most amazing aesthetic and decoration sense. Inside, they have a great obstacle course with plenty of difficulty options, nicely located viewing areas, a 'more advanced techniques' area, a bicycle course, ramp, and large versions of classic games like Jenga and Connect 4. Other amenities include change rooms, a private party area (complete with foosball, air hockey, arcade games), a small arcade area, lockers and water fountains to fill up your water bottles. We went for a team bonding activity and our 'guide' Sebastian was energetic and enthusiastic when demonstrating and explaining all the obstacles, options, games, etc (despite the day being boiling hot and muggy).
