Top 10 Game & Entertainment Centers in London, Canada

June 21, 2021 Tynisha Seiler

You’ll see double-decker buses and even the River Thames, but while London, Ontario, has clearly been inspired by its British namesake, this is a distinctly Canadian destination. Attractions like Fanshawe Pioneer Village, Banting House and Eldon House will captivate history buffs. Or indulge your, shall we say, slightly less cerebral side with a tour of the Labatt Brewery.

I came here for the first time at the beginning of Jan and I’m now a member with all my own gear. This place was addicting from the start. Staff is friendly, the refreshing of routes (especially bouldering) is frequent which adds so much to the experience. They do events often (route comps, partner climbs, glow nights, women’s nights, blood drives, etc.) so there is always something cool to look forward to! I love that they are open late because it works best for my busy schedule to come at night (Id love if they were open later on weekends though!). Prices aren’t bad especially for students ($17.50+gear)! And the membership can easily be paused which is great. This place does get pretty packed sometimes but there’s always somewhere to squeeze in. Would be great if Junction opened a second location! Definitely recommend trying climbing out whether you’re a local or a visitor!

First time ever trying this, our daughter wanted to try it. So while staying at the Best Western down the road I googled things to do. My husband and I took our daughter, shes 9. We did a family of 3 in the holodeck VR in the Temple of Diamond Skull. Talk about mind blown!!????it was so dang fun and amazing, we thought it was worth it. Would definitely recommend the Holodeck VR. The staff were great and absolutely nice and helpful. Most definitely will be coming back again. Booking a birthday party here would be awesome! Our daughter couldn't wait to come back, it honestly blew our minds. Like WOW!!???? Sooooo we ended up coming back the next day before we went home. Our daughter did the single chamber twice, once we watched her and the second time she did it while me and my husband did the Patient Zero zombie game, omg!!! That was pretty wicked. The staff were great with our daughter while we played and with us as well throughout the games. Our daughter also tried the rollercoaster game, she loved it. She said it gave her butterflies like a real ride ????. We plan on going back with my two nieces and daughter to finish the Second level of the adventure game like the Indiana Jones style. Sooo excited!!! Go check it out, its totally worth it. I think I could come back once a week or every other week to game it lol ????????????

Fleetway

Fleetway offers tons of fun for the whole family! 44 lanes of Bowling (5pin and 10pin available), 18-hole indoor mini Glow-Golf course, five-level Kids' Play Centre, 14 Boston Billiards tables, Playdium Lite Games Room, as well as on-site Pizza Projekt and Dairy Queen restaurants, means there is something for everyone to enjoy!

I took my 6 year old for a pre-back-to-school treat. We spent hours and hours there and had so much fun (even me). We did two games of bowling (with bumpers), played in the arcade, and spent most of our time in the play area (yes, me too). The staff was really friendly. The best part was that it was SO CLEAN! A lot of indoor playgrounds make me cringe but this one was very well kept. It was not overly crowded and it's a very spacious area. It would be great for all ages, there is even a baby area. There is also seating for parents who want to sit on the sidelines. The arcade is pretty generous with tickets for the little ones and that was so nice to see. My son chose on his own to save his tickets. Instead of tokens or paper tickets, you get a card, so it's easy to save them up. Now I will say, prepare to spend some money if you are going to do all the activities in one day. But in my opinion, it's very worth it to splurge once in a while for the experience and laughter. We also ended up going for food at the attached restaurant and it was very good, lots of choices and not just pizza. Next time we go, we are going to try glow mini golf which looks like a lot of fun. The updates are really awesome. I used to go bowling and playing pool at Fleetway in high school and it was always a great time with friends (and kept us out of trouble). It'd be a great place to go if you have kids of varying ages as there are tons of activities for different ages and levels of experience (e.g. 5 and 10 pin bowling). I would go back with friends too, and it would be a fun date night activity for grown ups. This is one of the best gems in the city!
