Already a common stop for backpackers, it is becoming better known to tourists. On the 14th day of each lunar month, the town trades its electric lights for traditional colored lanterns. Sights include the Japanese Covered Bridge and the Quan Cong Temple. Let the town’s expert tailors make you some bespoke clothing.

The small garden is so lovely it is very quiet the same call name.its a 15 minutes walk from Hoi an ancient towns.we serve local dish and some pizza home made. The traditions of my small family that I was taught by my mother only when I was a little girl.
Iâve been living in Hoi An for over a year now. In spite of all the great reviews youâre reading on TripAdvisor, there arenât really that many truly good Vietnamese restaurants here. I was pleasantly surprised to find the silent garden last night. It was actually fairly close to my house but I never really noticed the place before. Turned out to be the best Vietnamese food that Iâve eaten in Hoi An. The portions were very generous, and the quality and care in which the food was prepared was noticeable. )I also appreciated that it was very clean.) Iâve eaten at several places in Hoi An with five star reviews on TA; Silent Garden tops all of them by a long shot. The bun Cha was great, as was the beef with noodles. I will be going back!thanks! To be honest, we are grateful for what you have felt for us. We have tried to retain the Vietnamese spices and flavors in each of our dishes. try to keep all the best to serve guests who love the food and Vietnamese tastethanks!

Our vegan restaurant in Hoi An offers healthy foods & drinks. Itâs also a little space that we want to promote âsave the earthâ activities. We're not maybe the best restaurant but may offer the best vegan foods in Hoi An.
I loved this little restaurant. The service is friendly and the food was fresh and tasty. We will be going back. I also loved the smoothies with the straws made from lemon grass shoots. You definitely feel like a better person after eating there. Thank you. Thank you for your review, Carolyn. That is great to hear that you all loved our foods and service and had good experience at our restaurant. Looking forward to serving you next time soon and wish you all the best!

Nu Eatery proudly presents The Sea Shell by Nu Eatery. Minutes away from the original location, the same fresh tasty dishes found at Nu Eatery and many more can now be enjoyed at The Sea Shell. Walk-ins and reservations are both welcomed.
Traveling with co-workers on a management retreat, I asked Woop Woop pub owner for a restaurant recommendation and he suggested Sea Shell. Absolutely delicious, nice presentation, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. My colleagues are still talking about the food a day later. They all want to go back there tonight for dinner. That says it all.

Awesome snack-bar style food, cold beer and cocktails, a little humor from behind the bar and the best sunset in Hoi An! **Please note, we're an open-air restaurant/bar so we're open weather-permitting. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram @happybuffalohoia
What a fab place, far off the tourist track but thatâs what makes it even better. Ran by New Zealanders, the place is really well run and organised. As the food is small like entree sizes, we filled the table with a range and shared. Was fab. Everything was extremely tasty, the pork skewers being the best. Owner super friendly as too the dog. Great place Great to meet you and glad you enjoy your night with us.Safe travels

Visited twice this trip; once for cocktails in the wine bar downstairs, and another night for dinner upstairs. The ambiance in the slightly upscale (for Hoi An) wine bar is chilled and relaxed, with unobtrusive house music as an accompaniment. The only very small thing was the proximity to the street traffic if sitting at the front of the wine bar. The drinks themselves we thoroughly enjoyed; a reasonable choice of cocktails and wine by the glass - all also reasonably priced. Our return for dinner was a quieter and more refined experience upstairs. Our food was outstanding - particularly the fresh and deep fried spring rolls for entree, as well as the caramelised fish claypot we had as a main. The chef also made us a fantastic tiramisu for dessert; a tough ask most places! The accompanying wine was lovely (hubby had a fantastic Pinot Gris, which I normally find bland and uninteresting), and the service was both attentive and unobtrusive. The music upstairs was also 'just right'. We appreciated the attention from the manager; she ensured that we were happy with everything before allowing us to pay. We would definitely return!

The chef Phap gave us an insight into beautiful preparation of Vietnamese food . The ingredients were off the boat this morning and other ingredients were home grown . Everything was prepared with love creating a fine feast for us all at the conclusion . Small class made it easy to see how to prepare food . Amazing fresh flavours were created. It was a truly enjoyable experience and would highly recommend.

Stumbled across this small villa-type restaurant with attentive service, clean/tidy surroundings and great food. Menu is all you can eat, with food of high quality and an affordable price tag, ensuring youâre left with a full food baby. The waitress helped us choose and recommended many specialty dishes, as well as ourselves ordering more as weâre quite big eaters. Waiter and waitresses were very friendly, in particular, their employee; Romeo.

We walked through the back streets of Hoi An, passing many organic veggie gardens to get to Joi restaurant. We booked a table at this restaurant because they only use fresh local produce within 10km away from the restaurant. The moment we sat down we had a good feeling about this place. The restaurant itself is in a quiet part of town, looking over the river and the green gardens. Very tranquil...The menu wasnât huge, so we picked every dish off the menu to taste and share amongst our 6 friends. We started with the grilled Eggplant dip, fresh Vietnamese rolls and the stuffed chicken wings. We were off to a great start. All 3 dishes were very tasty, fresh and delicious. We waited a while for our mains to come out. It was definitely worth the wait! From the Seasonal Seafood curry, to the authentic baked rice with lotus seeds and pumpkin, both taste sensations. The stand out dish of the night was the mushroom, tomato & garlic butter house made gnocchi. It was a melt in the mouth experience. Just divine! We could not fault this dish. We moved onto the desserts, ordering the Creme brûlée with passionfruit & Dragon fruit and the tiramisu made with Vietnamese coffee. Both desserts were outstanding! All the dishes on this menu were made from scratch & made to order. The Vietnamese American head chef who has had a very interesting colourful life in the food industry, Has nailed every dish on this menu. Definitely worth getting off the beaten track to indulge at Joi restaurant. Jeevesy33,Definitely a very memorable evening cooking for you haha! Happy to make the gnocchi for you anytime. Hope you had a great time in Vietnam! Ciao :)
