Experience the fun and thrill of motocross. Learn how to ride a motocross bike for the first time in less than a day. No experience and no equipment required. Just bring yourself or come as a family. We have been introducing riders to this unique and exciting sport for over 20 years. You will learn on a closed circuit with a maximum of six riders per half-day session. Ages 7 + welcome. Open most weekends from March to November.
An excellent Day Out! The team from MXTryOut are superb - they "staged" the training so the new riders weren't even aware of their continuous progress throughout the day graduating after one day of experience being able to ride MX! Keep up the good work!

Jars Of Clay is a friendly ceramics painting studio and cafe where you can express your creativity and decorate one of our ceramics or simply enjoy some light refreshment. There is a wide range of ceramics available from fairy tale castles and fire engines to plates, mugs, vases and picture frames. Once your creation is complete we glaze it and fire it ready for you to collect in about a week's time.
Great morning decorating ceramics with my husband and 6 year old daughter. Cake was lovely and Nicky was very helpful and knowledgable, even arranging for our ceramics to be posted to us as we weren't from the area. Will be coming back in October half term!

Leiston Film Theatre celebrating over 100 years of Entertainment! From the latest films to amazing stage shows, there's something for everyone
On holiday and saw this in the local town so decided to pay it a visit - what a little gem. Amazing little place with one screen, showing recent films. It was very comfortable, great popcorn, friendly and helpful staff and the picture and sound quality were great. It was a shame more people were not using the facility, I would love to have something like this where we live. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in going.

Real life escape rooms. Are you up to the challenge? You and your friends are locked in a room, you will have to work together to solve puzzles and clues before the clock runs out. Currently running Death Row and The Vault. Death Row - It’s 1960 in Texas. You’ve been wrongly convicted for murder and you’re on death row. Legend has it, a previous prisoner escaped and has left you clues. You have 1 hour before your time is up, don’t get caught or let the time run out. The Vault - You and your accomplices are professional thieves and steal to order. MI6 have tasked you to steal five internationally prized artefacts. Rumour has it these have been stolen from around the world by a infamous high ranking Mafia boss Andreas Fault for his private collection. MI6 have got you into the service tunnel adjacent to his study but the rest is up to you. Good luck!
First visit to Escape Rooms Suffolk today and we were not disappointed! We escaped the Dolls House which was so cleverly thought out and had such a variety of different things to figure out - we had a great time and will definitely be coming back to try The Vault soon!

OPEN SATURDAY 25th MAY TO SUNDAY 8th SEPTEMBER 2019 Nothing beats swimming outdoors so why not visit Beccles Lido? The 30metre x 15metre outdoor pool, separate toddler pool and paddling pool are all heated to 27°C. There is a slide, springboard and giant-inflatable. Beccles Lido is on Puddingmoor, next to the River Waveney, with lots of grassy areas, sunloungers, tables and chairs to relax on. The cafe, with covered eating area, serves hot and cold snacks, delicious fairtrade coffee, tea and Italian hot chocolate, cold drinks and ices. Beccles Lido is the perfect place for a swim or a family day out. We also offer Canoe Hire (advance bookings only) from the Lido so you can take a paddle along the beautiful River Waveney. Or take a more relaxing river trip on Big Dog Ferry to the historic Locks Inn, Geldeston.
Due to Covid-19 you do need to book via their website but this is easy to do. I book a week ahead to be sure of getting the slot I want. There are sessions for just lane swimming, choose between slow, medium or fast for 45 mins in the pool. There are also family fun sessions for one hour (half the pool is lane swimming - fast & medium lanes only, and half the pool for family swim). It is all clearly explained on the website. All of the sessions are a great price. The pool has been refurbished and is lovely to swim in. It's a good temperature. The staff are friendly. Swimmers are courteous of each other in terms of getting to the end and then stopping to let faster swimmers go ahead of them. It's all very clean and the team are carrying out a clean between each session. You have your temperature checked before you go in. There are changing rooms you can use after your swim and showers and toilets. You have to go beach ready but there are lockers to store your clothes in. There's plenty of room to space out whilst getting changed and walking in and out. I feel very safe. There are places to park near by and I've not had trouble finding a space. I park in a free car park just a short walk from the Lido. I am so glad the Lido re-opened and it's been a lifesaver for me!
