This new Parkland incorporates the native prehistoric flora and fauna and the brand-new water play area. This parkland is a reflection of the Aboriginal cultural history and the town's railway heritage connection with the early Western line.
These parklands showcase local flora, local art and provide a place for a pleasant stroll or a family picnic. There is a lovely waterpark and climbing frames for kids to play. It is really well maintained and on our morning walk we saw everything being well cleaned. A great use of the land which we heard had been a disused rail yard .

The kids will love this place - mazes, mini golf and some fun things to play with! There are three different mazes here all with varying degrees of difficulty. Plus for an extra challenge you can solve a riddle which will be provided to you on arrival. Around the property are some great little props which are fun for different photos and there is also a good little 9 hole mini golf course too. The staff are super friendly and there is a small kiosk selling drinks and snacks too. This is a great place for families to visit while in Stanthorpe.

Picnic facilities include gas BBQs and covered picnic tables and toilets. A fully fenced playground caters for many age groups. The area is wheel chair friendly with an all ability swing. This facility offers two tennis courts with lights, three football (soccer) fields, a cricket oval with a turf wicket, cricket nets with artificial grass, a basketball half-court and playground equipment. There's also a clubhouse, featuring a canteen, meeting room, toilets and showers, on site.
Great to have a fenced park for the kids to run around in. Helps the parents relax a bit and has a big variety of play equipment.

Lake Annand is one of Toowoomba's feature parks. It includes a large man-made pond that has been landscaped into an attractive water area including a fountain. The tranquil lake is a focal point of the park and this combined with the lush green lawns and gardens surrounding it makes for a beautiful park outlook. This, coupled with barbecue facilities and amazing children's play areas, makes the location a popular one for picnics, get-togethers and small events. It is also popular for wedding photos and is home to two significantly large-based Queensland bottle trees
I love visiting this park with my kids and letting them run wild on the huge range of equipment. Pirate ships, big all abilities rocker, slides and more. Great for bday parties and looks stunning in the autumn.

The park is located in an area in the Darling Downs Region of the Great Dividing Range about 12000m above sea level. Situated on the Granit Belt with fine winery's and culinary delights. if your a star gazer you will be delighted. Just love this place and definitely going back. We stayed in our caravan, although friends did stay in the cabins and said they were quaint and well maintained. I found the facilities extremely clean and easily accessed as I am on a scooter at the moment due to surgery. If your one for adventure or just chilling out this is the place to be. You can canoe in the dam, take leisurely strolls and check out the wild life. What a great place for a get together. The care takers of the park organised a minibus with a local driver who new the area very well. About 11 of us took the tour and saved $$$$. OMG visiting the wineries is a must do.
