If you saw Chevy Chase's masterpiece European Vacation, you'll recognize Stonehenge's massive formation. (As a citizen of the world, you should recognize Stonehenge anyway.) The prehistoric stone circle is eight miles from Salisbury, and its visitors provide a boost to the local economy. With a history dating back over 5,000 years, there is no shortage of significant places to visit in and around Salisbury. On the "must see" list are Salisbury Cathedral, Longleat and Stourhead gardens (and Stonehenge, of course).

We really enjoyed the experience at Salisbury Escape Rooms, your facilities, plot, process and puzzles were so well thought out and designed with an amazing amount of variety and technology it certainly stretched the ability for any team to work collaboratively requiring lots of different skills and competencies.... so congratulations on the investment of time, money and resources to create this innovative experience. Special When Lit is a pinball club open to the public every Friday evening between 6:30-10:00. We have around twenty pinball machines at any one time. After paying the entrance fee, all machines are free to play in a friendly and sociable atmosphere.
I found this place originally just by researching pinball machines in the Internet, What a gem to find and not many places like this anymore! when I look back I think I've been coming here since about 2014 (on an infrequent basis). I used to play pinball when I was at University back in the '90's so its a bit of nostalgia for me. There is a fantastic selection of pinballs, all in great playable condition (some are in mint or better than they left the factory condition). There's 4 or 5 that I recall directly from my Uni days and plenty of other machine that I've really enjoyed trying from the older traditional 70's machines, right up to date with Star Wars and machines like The Simpson's. I've always received a friendly welcome at the club on a Friday ( Other commitments prevent me from going long on the weekend league events) . As Others have said once you've paid the very reasonable £5 entrance fee then all the machines are on free- play for the night. There is generously tea and coffee availble for free and a selection of nibbles, choc bars and fizzy drinks in the kitchen for very modest fees. The pinballs are great fun, and I've had several chats and multiplayer games with other people that go there. A range of ages attend from school kids up to quite mature adults! Do go along an give it a go, its a little gem in Salisbury. Just a note, it is quite well hidden in a small trading estate so take note of the address details and follow the small signs. J.

Experience the escape rooms on Castle Street, Salisbury. This five-star rated Salisbury escape room sees you and your team of 2 - 6 at Station Athena, an abandoned research station once home to the Respect Foundation. You have been sent in to discover what happened to the scientists working there as they have mysteriously disappeared. 'Spectre' is story driven, immersive, with hand crafted puzzles and special effects. Get together with friends, family or work colleagues, look for clues, solve the puzzles and try to escape the room in 60 minutes. If you're celebrating an occasion, do let us know as we like to make your experience extra special. Escape rooms are great for team building too. Spectre can form part of a whole or half day of activities for up to 40 people.
We went to Live Escape for a family treat on Father's Day (3 adults and a 13yr old). Everyone enjoyed working together to crack the clues and solve the puzzles and we made it out in under 47 minutes - a real sense of achievement all round! Great customer service too. Thank you for a fun start to our Father's Day celebrations!

Our 14 Bay undercover Driving Range complete with Toptracer technology is the perfect venue to visit whist in Salisbury. The facility is open to everyone, with or without any golf experience and with each bay equipped with a Toptracer screen that tracks every shot you hit, why not try out the Longest Drive & Nearest the Pin Challenges or maybe play a few holes around St Andrews! Each bay can take 4 people, golf clubs can be supplied and we have instructors on site to assist you if required. Inside we have an open plan Coffee Shop and Lounge Bar, serving Costa Coffee, homemade cakes, hot and cold snack as well as a variety of beers and ales. Seating is available in the main lounge, conservatory or outside in the garden. Salisbury Golf Centre is situated between the stunning Cathedral City and the picturesque village of Wilton. Easy access, lots of parking and the warmest of welcomes await you.
Highly recommended for non-golfers who want to have a fun day out and made even better by the top tracer technology that tracks your progress on the range. With the added technology it helped a novice like me build upon my skills by giving accurate insights into my swings. The golf centre itself was very welcoming, with some great spaces to sit and hang out after our session. The owners and staff were incredibly helpful, making sure we had what we needed and were on hand to answer any questions.

Very lucky to see such a wonderful building as a cinema. It was a historic place with amazing mediaeval features. What a hidden treasure. Another good reason to visit Salisbury.

Visited today with my daughter. Bowling was excellent value for money; £4.95 per adult and £4.25 per child. I had looked into going to Southampton, but it cost £8.25 per adult and £6.99 per child!!! The play centre was very clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful; they pointed out their offer which meant I could take my daughter into the soft play area for £3.50 after bowling. We were able to stay as long as we liked, with the added bonus of a refillable mug of tea for £1.95!. We ended up staying most of the day and will certainly be going back!
