A holiday in Norfolk is not a glamorous break. While the Norfolk Broads of East Anglia are a beautiful part of the UK, they represent a relaxing rural getaway rather than a high-powered city-break. Although its reputation is mostly rural, with people associating the county mostly with the wetlands of the Norfolk Broads, there are also towns such as Norwich and King's Lynn to visit, both of which provide shopping opportunities, nightlife and entertainment. Norfolk also contains a large stretch of coastline, and seaside destinations such as Cromer and Great Yearmouth mean there are great beaches to be found as well. Many areas of the Norfolk Broads and the coastal region are sites of outstanding natural beauty, and are also protected as bird reserves, so take a pair of binoculars on holiday. There are also popular wildlife attractions such as Banham Zoo, with a great collection of big cats, and Great Yarmouth's Sea Life Centre, one of the biggest of its kind in the country, complete with tropical sharks and conger eels. And of course, if any of your family are interested in boating, you'll need to rent a boat and explore the waterways of the Broads themselves!

Cryptic Escape is the first real-life escape game in Norwich, UK. Based in the historic Augustine steward House. You are locked in a room for 60 minutes and you need to find a way to escape. There are a lot of objects, codes, hidden hints, that can help you to get out. You have to be smart and think out of the box to solve the puzzles you find. In a team you have to think together, work together and most importantly laugh together.
this was our second visit to an escape room ,we did the greenbeard pirate room and were "captivated" from the start .Assisted via screen with a few helpful hints ,we could kick ourselves for missing some ,which were obvious and others which we would have never achieved .The puzzles were a variety of challenges and we are hooked to complete more .The premises were in keeping with covoid guidelines and we felt adequately protected

We decided to book this game at short notice, after our holiday in Norfolk started out decidedly wet and we needed something indoors to enjoy. Despite some first time nerves, this ended up being a ln absolutely superb escape game and out game master Holly was fab; friendly knowledgeable and helpful when we needed it! We escaped with 1min 12 secs to spare and found it very tricky (2 players). We definitely want to come back to enjoy a tour run by this company and to do the Blickling escape room too. Highly recommended!

Highball is East Anglia's largest indoor climbing centre. Our vision is to make Highball 'a great place to work, climb, train and hang out'. Our core focus is Climbing. We 'get it' and our trained team will help you get climbing whether it's For Fun | For Fitness | For Life.
My child's 10th party for 6 girls was great fun this week. The instructor was fun, girls loved the activities and to keep costs down we took their own packed lunches and ate them in the cafe area with birthday cake. Parents had lovely coffees and snacks from the cafe and enjoyed being able to watch the girls climb. Thanks to all the helpful friendly staff.

In THE QUEENMAKER, the world's first escape game in a real church, the royal marriage that changed history is in your hands! Life in Tudor England is a constant struggle, even for Norfolk’s wealthy Boleyn family. The closer you are to the King, the more secure your lands, and your lives, will be. There is no place at Court closer than the King’s consort – his Queen. In the church where the real-life Anne Boleyn worshipped as a girl, you must use all your guile and cunning to overcome the many obstacles in your path and help get your daughter Anne to the altar, as the bride of King Henry the Eighth!
We had an amazing time as a family completing the Escape Room! Siv was amazing and we are definitely going to do more of these games, it had something for everyone!

Bowling House is a cocktail bar, karaoke venue and restaurant that just happens to be a ten pin bowling alley. Located on Dereham Road in Norwich City Centre, Bowling House is a great night out with fun group activities and special offers. A new addition to Norwich nightlife, if you’re planning an event for a birthday meal, hen party or stag do we have all the event ideas for big groups. We have plenty of fun things to do with the kids that are good for a rainy day, so if you’re looking for somewhere to take the family give us a call. Our corporate hospitality packages are great for work nights out, with special deals for team building or your annual Christmas Party.
Really enjoyable experience as always. No bowling due to covid restrictions, so just drinks and food with friends outside. Friendly and attentive service, good prices including great-tasting 241 cocktails anytime on different cocktails and a variety of them, great tasting food and well-chosen music. They even moved us to another table when our time ended and never pushed us to leave. Will be going again soon to use my new membership and to bowl too!
