Another amazingly brilliant, funny pantomime at the Dukes. All the family had a fantastic evening watching this small troupe perform.

Lancaster Comedy Club

Every Sunday 8pm, the finest comedians make their way to Lancaster Comedy Club. Over the years we have seen many brilliant comics including Gary Delaney, Ivan Brackenbury, Justin Moorhouse and John Bishop. Every week is a hilarious show. Why not make a night of it and done with us before the show? Complimentary bottle of wine when you order two main courses. All our show are fully seated, over 18's and acts are subject to change.

My partner and I have been about 10 times and invariably have a fantastic laugh and a good time. It’s priced spot on, the gig is pretty intimate and the show is always pretty relaxed with good MCs. We’ve seen an eclectic mix of acts from musical acts, acts with props, sophisticated humour to slapstick and crude but it never disappoints. As good as it gets a Sunday night....

Lancaster On Ice

Lancaster On Ice is a winter wonderland attraction in Dalton Square, right at the heart of the historic city of Lancaster. The centrepiece of this wonderful attraction is a 200 square metre open air Ice Rink, perfect for the festive season. Alongside the festive Ice Rink is a 100 person capacity Tipi Bar and restaurant, Bar Humbug.

Booked in for 2 adults and 2 children on the rink's last day. We're all rubbish at skating (particularly me!) but we had a lot of fun anyway! Ice skate hire is included in the ticket, hiring a 'bear' to hold on to (or for a little one to sit on) while skating is another £5. We hired one of these so that the kids could take turns sitting on it or pushing it round. We also went on the big wheel. Had to be done but boy, wait until it's not windy as it feels shaky up there!

Giggles Play and Adventure Centre

Reviewed By JSMyatt

Larger than most soft play venues with very friendly staff who keep on top of the cleaning. There are many food tables and with so many children you can expect a mess but the staff are there and cleaning up immediately, so no stickiness. The food is very well presented and good value and there is a fantastic choice of ice creams and ice cream sundaes. On admission you can opt for a meal deal which when added to the cost of play gives a good discount. They also have a loyalty card scheme for regular visitors. I often take my granddaughter for lunch and as the area is well enclosed and secure I can let her run around and play with no worries. The staff are lovely with the children and the customer service is excellent.

We visited today my son and I for him to experience the climbing wall. He really enjoyed the session, there was three instructors the two guys in particular were very encouraging of the children and positive. Safety was paramount. The climbs were various degrees of difficulty and attractive to children and adults. The whole building was fantastic, easy to find, clean, welcoming, free car park fantastic cafe and all the staff were polite and helpful. I thought the activities were reasonably priced. We will definitely return in the near future.

Go-Karts & Bouncy Castle

Reviewed By simonJames50 - Thornton Cleveleys, United Kingdom

Came here last night with my girlfriend and her two boys aged 6 and 12, the youngest has attention problems and being tested for adhd. The staff were extremely patient and explained fully the dangers of hitting walls or other go karts. They allowed the 6yr old 3 laps first to see if he could master the track. After his 3 laps he’d basically got it so we gave it a go. Can’t fault the staffs attention to us and put the warning lights on as soon as there was a problem on the track. Highly recommend this place. Expect to have the rules drummed into you as at the end of the day it’s for your and other drivers safety. Thanks for a great session and I’m sorry we held up other people and you ended up staying late. Simon.
