This romantic restaurant offers a good quality- price meal (fondue)! Even if it's not the cheapest restaurant in the neighborhood, you won't be disappointed! The portions are big and everything is fresh and perfect quality. We are always easy to be contac
Every few years, when we come back to Oostende, an evening out in the Eclips is on our favorite restaurants to revisit list.Last weekend we visited with 5 people, we all took the Irish filet pure fondue, and as usual over the years, the meat was of the highest quality, and the service by the owners impeccable ! A great wine and an Irish coffee prepared at the table made this again a perfect evening with a fantastic price/quality ratio !Can't wait to go back :-)

A fantastic dining experience for my partner and myself. From the time we entered to the time we left everything was so perfect. This is a very small personal, intimate restaurant owned by the chef who clearly prides himself in his work. On arrival we were invited to sit at the chefs table where we could view all the dishes being prepared for our gourmet dinner. Quite fascinating, everything was so orderly and calm. Our waiter went to great lengths to translate and describe all the dishes. Following a very delicate amuse-bouche; from the 3 or 4 course menu we chose the sea bass, the guinea fowl, then either the cheese board or the chefs special desert. All beautiful cooked and presented. The waiter also suggested a limited edition Belgian Chardonnay that went very well with our meal.On leaving the chef personally retrieved our coats and was pleased to know that we enjoyed both his food and our evening. Full marks and highly recommended. It follows advanced booking is essential.

We had a gastronomic diner, including wine, voucher for two. Based on the good reviews we decided to try this restaurant at the Belgian coast. What a discovery and what a treat. From the many small one-bite appetizers presented by pairs over the starter through the main dish and the fine dessert we enjoyed one culinary surprise after the next. With every dish we received a clear appealing description of what to expect. Additionally we were presented excellent wines in perfect harmony with each dish and the very friendly sommelier talked us through each wine (which was almost a trip around the world on its own). Wonderfull experience in a nice setting. Worth mentioning are also the freshly baked selection of loafs (about 8 different tastes to choose from) as well as the wide selection of home-made one-bite sweets that came as a surprize to the coffees we ordered to close off a wonderfull lunch.This restaurant deserves a Michelin star ! We will certainly be back !

This is a real family restaurant with husband in the kitchen and wife front of house. Beautiful old building with modern additions and a stylish courtyard garden. We visited on a gloomy November day for lunch and they had lit all the candles and the fire so it was welcoming and cosy. Set lunch outstanding value at 39euro - seabass tartare, pheasant with mushrooms, chocolate dessert (with delicious amuse bouches before, and chocolates and waffles with coffee) and we wholeheartedly recommend it!

Great location, great food and wine experience, perfect service ... at a reasonable price (during the week) for 4 courses dinner, paired wines, champagne aperitif and 2 half liter bottles of sparking water 120 ⬠p.p. My 2cents : currently best foodie place around Kortrijk and Waregem. Well done !

the restaurant is convenient located a few steps from the coast-tram from Ostend;but parking is also available nearby;we appreciate the very friendly reception and the attentive service of Heidi and Christine;they always take into account special requirements,but even the low-salt fish dishes were very tasteful, thanks to an excellent seasoning mix,this reveals a high professional skill of the chief cook Patrick, giving always such artful presentations, with creativity and excellent variations;the appropriate wines and champagne, were chosen by the sommelier Gino from the Vinotheek, giving a finishing touch to a fantastic meal in a relax atmosphere;

What can one say more than simply ...heaven ... What I particularly love about this kitchen is the simplicity and yet very great flavors that are present in your dishes. Simple and tasteful ingredients revisited by a great chef, with no fuss about it (unlike some others). Either menu you choose it'll always be a culinary feast. Bart Desmidt is also a chef who defends the quality of local products and certainly Northseafish. Add to that an almost perfect and impeccable service by the lady of the house, view on the sea, pleasant atmosphere, reasonable prices for a two stars Michelin restaurant, and you have the reasons why this is my favourite star ranked restaurant in Belgium.

We offer fine seasonal Flemish - French cuisine by Chef Gregory Slembnrouck whose inspiration is led by high quality, fresh market produce. His second home is certainly his stove, where he spends most of his time there creating and working his culinary ma
We were in Bruges for a few days to celebrate my wife's birthday and I decided to look for something special for her birthday dinner. I chose Le Mystique from on-line research and booked through their website. The booking was quickly acknowledged followed by a message to provide a credit card number. This I did by telephone and received rapid confirmation. Prior to the due date I received a text reminder.We were greeted in a most friendly manner on arrival and shown straight to our reserved table - one of the best in the small restaurant area that was in use that evening. Although I had been asked in advance whether we had any allergies or intolerances I had unfortunately failed to mention that my wife does not eat fish.As the menu is based on a five course tasting menu - there is an a la carte option too - the chef was consulted about how my wife could have her five courses without fish. This was done without fuss and a suitable list of courses was quickly devised.By the time we had an appetiser and other little treats between courses it felt as if we had eight course rather than five! Each offering was exquisite in both taste and presentation and we had a most delightful meal which will long be remembered for all the right reasons.Service was efficient by well informed staff who seemed genuinely eager to please.The meal was not cheap but this was fine dining done very well. Highly recommended for a special occasion.Dear guest,We feel honored that you have chosen our restaurant for the special occasion of your wife's birthday.We would really like to thank you for taking your time to review your dinner with us and will personally make sure that your kind words are transferred to the entire team.It is highly important to us to exceed each of our guests' expectations and we like to do whatever possible in order to achieve that, even if there is an unforeseen situation!We look forward to welcoming you again on your next visit in the magical city of Bruges!Kind regards,Johan, Isabelle and team

Welcome to the Parkrestaurant ! A stylish yet relaxed restaurant in a 19th-century listed Townhouse, facing the beautiful Koningin Astrid Park. Family owned since 1989. Traditional, simple, yet tasty, Belgian cuisine. Jazzy background music. Menu formulas
Following a wonderful 15 day SCENIC River Cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam, my wife and I spent 3 nights in Amsterdam and 4 in Bruges (Belgium) at Hotel de Orangerie. While in Bruges, we dined at the Park Restaurant. Axel (co-owner) with his brother Frederic (co-owner, CHEF) run an INCREDIBLE SHOW. From start to finish, the attention, food, adult beverages, ambiance, email follow-up "pre and post" were ALL what the WORLD needs more of. Simply AMAZING - Peter & Ann.

There is no more sincere love than the love for good food. The address where gastronomy and conviviality find each other.
The food was very good and with had a lot of flavours - family business with husband and wife - very nice reception and relaxed atmosphere - the menus were only in Flemish or French - The lady could not speak english but that did not put any barriers to our enjoyment of the food as the lady was very accommodating
