Le Pavlova is a French-style teahouse, near the Courthouse of Rouen. It is the Australian (or New Zealander) cake which is an hommage a great baker made after seeing the famous Russian ballerina Anna Pavlova dance that this tea house was named after. For
If your looking for a place that offers tea and cake decadence. Then look no future than Le Pavlova. Total quality from the service, the tea and the amazing cakes. It's impossible to feel any guilt on eating the cakes here. Highly recommend a visit here.

A group of colleagues headed to Simone on Saturday night, anticipating a great dinner based on the reviews. The slightly anonymous interior seats about twenty; contortions necessary to get into some of the seats. Donât overdress. The sole waitress appeared to be irritated and put-out. When we asked if they could do a vegetarian plate, she emphatically shook her head no, but with a little cajoling, she came around, and the kitchen managed to dish up a lovely meat-free plate. The food was excellent and the prices good. Three stars for the service, four for the locale, and five for the food.

Booked ahead as Rouen was busy on this Saturday night; not our first pick but looked okay from the reviews. Booked an early meal as we were travelling but the restaurant quickly filled up. Service was friendly, but a bit stretched as the evening progressed. Decor was a bit dated. Menu was okay but there was not a lot of 'freshness' about it. Entree came within a minute of ordering (ie. not freshly prepared). Mains were again, okay, but not a lot of flavour. Quite expensive for what it was. Will try somewhere different the next time we are passing through.

Booked for Sunday lunch. Menu reflect local cuisine, which is what we wanted. Enjoyed the meal, traditional plates well cooked; nothing particularly wow. Did not really care for the decor, especially the clown paintings! Perhaps a bit old fashioned, but maybe that's just our taste. Overall, enjoyed our afternoon lunch.

We visited here this evening with no reservation, staff were friendly and smiley, being generous with my terrible French and their brilliant English. Dinner was beautiful, galettes, salad, sweet crepes and frites were all delicious, and a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Cosy speciality coffee shop with a local and healthy home-made cuisine. All type of coffee extractions (espresso and pour overs). Brunch on sunday
Friendly. Great food. Amazing cakes, flan and cookies. The flan was incredible. A brunch here is an excellent experience. Granola bowl, coffee, juice and bowl of scrambled egg, avocado on bread, rice and fish. Very popular and understandably so. highky recommended Dear John,Thank you so much for your nice review. We are glad you liked our brunch and the flavors you could find. Our pâtissière prepares the flan with the maximum care just to be sure, it is perfect. This is also our favorite cake :) best,The entire team

There was so much from which to choose but we ultimately decided on the tasting menu. The 7 courses were actually 9 sumptuous dishes of fish, vegetables, duck and veal. The standout for us was the tuna tartare smothered in amazing truffles but every dish was superb. The cheese board was a sight to behold! My wife has some food allergies and the staff was so accommodating. The atmosphere was perfect in the restaurant with a very attentive team of servers to cater to your every desire. The wine list was extensive with a bottle for every taste!

Very nice and excellent place to have lunch in Rouen. Small, very good service, normal prices. We had the menu of the day.First dish was 3 types of mushrooms ( the newest of the season) ; some cooked some not, with a sauce ...Great. The main was a Saint Jacques (a fish) that was great in a combination os spinach and sauce Excellent. The cheeses I chose were from Normandy also Great. The dessert and apple Granny Smith so good! The set menu for the day was 35⬠without the cheese and with the selection went to 47â¬. Very good choice. Better prices than in Paris. Rouen is only 1 hour 12' by train from Paris. It is worth a visit you can go and return the same day.

In a authentic setting, we offer a cooking bistro with tradition and modernity. You will find a wide selection of wines and spirit properties.
First ate here a few years ago with a colleague and it was very good. Came back a week ago and had a very good meal. They were very busy with full tables in and out, so service was not as good as my last visit, but otherwise pretty good experience.
