Great service and welcome from Seb and his staff. Food and service get better each time we visit. Plenty of choice from snacks to a la carte and an ever changing lunch menu at 18 euros. Food is well cooked and presented and is served with vegat@bles which is rare in France. Try it soon !

De passage, en route pour les vacances, nous nous sommes arrêtés par hasard.Et bien nous avons été très agréablement surpris. Le personnel était attentionné, le restaurant très propre et le cadre plutôt agréable.Nous avons été enchantés des plats, copieux, frais, avec des produits de la région (foie gras, canard confit, gésiers, etc...) à des prix très intéressants.Une jolie pause gourmande.

We moved to Lombez in March and was hoping to find a local restaurant with good food. Visited Le Bateau ivre on Saturday lunchtime. Wow. Sat outside on the terrace next to Lombez's historical cathedral. The food was excellent. Tuna for main which was amazing and a white Chocolate and lime dessert which was sublime. Very reasonably priced too. Will definitely be back very soon.

2 fois que nous commandons à emporter, la première fois tout était très bon, la savoyarde ainsi que la sombrero nous on ravie.2eme commande le 20 septembre : la d'artagnan excellente sauf les champignons (plein d'eau), par contre grosse déception sur l'orientale (sauce tomate très acide, ça m'a même fait plissé les yeux, c'est le seul bémol.Vous nous reverrai tout de même.

We sat outside on a very hot day. The menu is good. Not very French though but that is fine. We ordered beers, pizzas and a panini. All were very good. Service was friendly if a little slow. No problem for us though as we really enjoyed sitting there, drinking beer and watching the world go by.

Ici absolument TOUT est FAIT MAISON.Une bonne cuisine traditionnelle avec buffet de hors d'oeuvres suffisamment varié. 2 plats du jour au choix. Desserts de "nos grands mères" extras ! Ambiance rustique mais très conviviale.Un conseil si vous voulez de la place : téléphonez ou arrivez à midi.Fermé soirs et week-end.

Recommandé par une amie du village pour les prix abordables et LE canard!, Il faut arriver avant 12h30 ou réserver même à l intérieur. Les plats sont simples. Les aiguillettes de canard auraient méritées une petite sauce avec les frites. Il n'y avait malheureusement plus de parmentier de canard.Le service est rapide et efficace.

This is a no frills bar come restaurant serving up some real local fare together with decent hamburgers and the usual steaks etc. I've eaten here a few times and never been disappointed. Reasonably priced and generous portions. Evenings and weekends during the summer need booking in advance.

Original interior. Very attentive staff (but please don't talk with each other about guests when other guests can hear!). Food was good, but foie gras was not best quality and sauce going with pigeon can be more refined. Aiguilles de canard were without taste. The last remaining taste was completely flattenef by a heavy honey sauce.

The food is always presented brilliantly, lovely restaurant setting. Staff are always very nice, best staff from my whole trip to France. The food is always good quality and nice, however our soup starter could have been a bit hotter. Other than that, loved it and can't wait to go back. Best to book.
