Off the main road this restaurant in the hotel is not aiming for local food but has a good menu, well cooked. Service was good and friendly right up until the end when the bill was a bit of an ordeal. Delicious starter of boar fillet and the main of hake was really nicely done. Not sure about the veal "balls" - they were a bit dry. Good wine list.

Nice little restaurant. Difficult to get a table at the weekend. The two "platters" to start - ham with crostini and toast with ham and mozzarella with pesto - were nice. The pizzas were good too - thin crust and nice flavour. House wine perfectly good.

Very warm welcome, cozy surroundings and really good food. Plat du jour, 3 good sized courses, wine, coffee and armagnac at â¬42 for two people, you cannot go wrong. Definitely recommended.

This place was excellent. Better than I was expecting. We ate here during the summer mid week so it was pretty quiet so the service was quick and the food was good. We ate from the "local menu" which is a set 4 course meal for â¬25 which was excellent. A starter of soup, then a salad, then a choice of 3 mains and 2 deserts. All were excellent. If I was in the area again I would return. The dinning room is nice also and the service wen we were there was quick and friendly despite us not having much French to converse in, the waitress tried her best to explain everything.

This small creperie in the delightful town of St Lary Soulin is well worth a visit. There is a small choice of galettes (savoury pancakes) and a large selection of sweet crepes. Three of our party had the galette complet which was a pancake with ham, goats cheese and a fried egg with a generous helping of lettuce. Our other companion had a sweet pancake with banana, chocolate and whipped cream. The service was quick and friendly with hot and tasty food. The accompanying coffee was also good.I would thoroughly recommend this venue for good food and a friendly ambiance.

Coucaril is a lounge(show) of tea-glacier-confiseur situated a few steps away from the tourist office of Saint-Lary-Soulan. This establishment, in the colored and slightly acid universe, is undoubtedly the paradise of the gourmands! The warm decoration(se
We were 5 people, each ordering one of their fancy chocolate drinks or fancy teas plus a plate of macaroons, so our bill was not insignificant. We drank, we munched, we chatted, we continued chatting after we finished our drinks, this is a café after all, when the manager comes over and asks us to please liberate the table if we were finished our drinks, as she claimed she was having to turn away customers. We had been there for maybe 30 minutes....Well, we got the hint!Upon leaving I noticed two other families with children who were there when we arrived and were quite obviously finished as well. I was curious if they had been asked to leave as well? Did not appear so, but it does not matter.Nobody was waiting at the door when we left either.Basically they do not give a damn about you. They are in a tourist location, lots of through traffic, maybe figured we will probably not come back anyway. You paided your bill now please leave, I have other customers.... maybe.....Not me, that is for sure.

We know this restaurant know for over 10 years and it never disappoints us. We went for ;lunch or dinner, take our friends and family. Food is made from local products, the wine list is very kind to your wallet. The staff is very kind and speaks enough English to feel welcome.

Lovely little modern tapas bar in the centre of Saint Lary. Reasonably priced, great local food and service with a smile. Very much recommend for a light good quality lunch. You can also buy the wine they serve (the rose is excellent).Merci pour votre avis à bientôt

Small Warm And Friendly Restaurant Régional Food And Speciality Mountain Dweller
The staff here are really friendly and obliging. We arrived on the day before they were due to close for the season. The staff were really helpful in suggesting food that they still had available. A lovely atmosphere in the restaurant so don't be put off by the outside. We had soup followed by pizza and all were delicious.

Really good crepes, so soft dough. Kind waiter. Good cider. The local is not really fancy but ok (small though). We tried to repeat the experience at lunch time (there is a chep menu for lunch), but the time schedule for lunch it is kind of frenchy ;-) Until 14:00
