On our second night in Guadeloupe we had the pleasure of eating at this lovely restaurant. From the wonderful and talented chef who makes you feel like family and your attendance is truly appreciated, to the delicious food, this was the best Restaurant in Saint Francios. We all had the special that evening, Tagliatelle with lobster and it was fabulous!!! Our server was sooo friendly, always with a smile on her face. We enjoyed their food and hospitality so much we returned for our last meal in Guadeloupe and weren't disappointed.

A lovely restaurant right on the water. The construction was far superior to most Guadeloupe waterside restaurants and the service was the best we encountered. The waitstaff really hustled, which we appreciated after experiencing extremely slow service at many local restaurants. The food was excellent. We cannot recommend Le Poivrier too highly.

Au Petit Paradis 2 is a restaurant in Aups in the Var in France. You will eat very good salads and dishes with Creole taste. Snacks and delicious alcohol-free cocktails. But also very good Bubble Waffle!
Terrific accras, french fries are home made and delicious. We just had a snack but the plats look fresh and great. Amazing view, sweet staff. Be prepared to pay cash in case they can't get a signal for the card machine.

French menu, but English speaking waitstaff. The food was fresh and delicious. Relaxed atmosphere in a very busy plaza with several restaurants. We loved not being rushed and the starters, dinner and wine were fantastic.

We walked past this café several times before deciding to book a table based on Trip Advisor reviews. We had a friendly reception from the staff and the menu was appealing and a little 'different'. Le Metis calls itself a café and, as the name implies, it has a casual but lively atmosphere compared to a more 'traditional' restaurant. I must admit the rather garish brightly coloured interior had initially put us off going there, but maybe that's a sign of our age! It is obviously very popular, especially with tourists and has live music, I believe, on some evenings. I chose one of the 'specials' from the board which was a huge seafood brochette. It was very tasty but I struggled to finish it. My partner had the risotto. We both had a kir aperitif and white wine from Provence to accompany our meal. After our main course we were very full and could only manage a mango sorbet for dessert. The prices were averagely expensive but good value for the quality of the food.

We came upon this restaurant whilst walking around Saint Francois. It was fully booked that evening and the following one but we secured a table for dinner two days ahead. So advance booking recommended!Le Zagaya is situated right on the waterfront so that you feel you are virtually on it, particularly if you succeed in getting a table right at the front. The restaurant is fairly small and there is plenty of space between the tables so you don't feel packed in. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is very relaxing. Most dishes have a Creole twist to them and the seafood is fresh and highly recommended, particularly the blanquette de la mer with coconut milk and linguine which is delicious! There is a good choice of desserts and I particularly enjoyed the house creme brûlée. The banana flambé gateau also looked good. To sum up: Great ambience and good quality food at moderate prices.

It began with a whipped black olive pate and the most delicious bread roll! Then on to a salad with slices of lobster. Then the entrecote served with a Bearnaise sauce that literally melted as soon as it touched the steak. A glass of light white wine and finished with crepes Suzette! No wonder they call it the best restaurant in Guadeloupe!

Its clear if you appreciate the common down to earth cuisine, you may want to think twice, but personally i found this restaurant delightful. The fixed menu i found full of surprises, with successful marriages between different textures, local products and excellent service. The suggestions for accompanying wine hit spot on. Excellent table for Guadeloupe.

A great addition to the restaurant scene in Saint Francois, with a constantly changing, innovative and delicious menu. After many meals in restaurants with almost identical interchangeable menus it was so refreshing to find somewhere with a menu changing daily. We came here first for lunch and ended up having dinner twice, each time the menu was enticing and it was hard to make choices. The restaurant is attractive, inside or out and the service is very friendly and efficient. Definitely a place to go for a really good meal in Saint Francois.
