This is a Devine restaurant , which I would advise to book a table. It is a quant restaurant with wonderful food. We could not fault this restaurant. From the time we walked in we were treated as if we were their best customers. Nothing was too much trouble, waitress/ owner spoke English, if you get stuck. Food was expertly cooked, full of flavour , and brilliant presentation. We will come back. Thankyou .

An art decor restaurant on the corner of a road. The waiter who served us spoke excellent English which he had learnt as a 17 years old staying/living in Cork. Quite why he was there we never discovered.Galettes not the most warming of meals on what was a bitterly cold day but they were very pleasant.I have only rated this restaurant with 4 stars as along with our pleasant waiter was a young lady who stood behind a counter with a very bored look the entire time we were there, she did no work whatsoever and I have no idea her position in the restaurant.

Although at first sight this would appear to be a small bar offering some value for money snacks and nothing special, we rounded the corner to find a pleasant outdoor decking area offering welcome shade with very clean tables nicely set for dining. We decided to try their 'steak & frites' at around 9.50 Euros as the menu was very limited. The waitress was extremely friendly and welcoming and asked for our order. We did our best to explain that we wanted the steak without blood, we have had some 'very' rare steaks in France and to ask for medium does not work. Realising that our command of french was limited, she helped us out with some english.I have to say the steak was on the rare, rather than medium, side but it was an excellent piece of meat and was sliced with ease. The flavour was delicious and the chips were crisp and golden, together with the usual fresh lettuce it was a lovely meal.We had some very palatable house red and rose wine and a tasty dessert, all at a very reasonable price.Lovely service, good food and great value for money.

Weâd been reluctant to try this restaurant because it seemed more pretentious than anything else, but we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is quite over-staffed, with every served being very enthusiastic about trying to speak English, even when unnecessary...But donât let that frighten you away! The food is far better than average, the wine list extensive & not budget-breaking, the area for children to play & make new friends is WONDERFUL, and the desserts perfect!A keeper!

Beach bar Restaurant with a seaview with a terrace along Sillon beach located att walking distance from the fortified city St Malo. Restaurant bistrot type with 25 seats inside and 80 outside on the terrace. Home made cuisine with seafood platters, fish,
Hmm. What to say? The hotel is indeed charming and in a lovely position on the sea front. The terrace is well positioned and popular. But. Half hearted weary check in. Had to climb over discarded mattresses and linens to get to our (admittedly nice) room. What spoils it is the service on the terrace. Off hand. Rude. Slow. Not a thank you to be had. For the first time in 10 days on France we felt unwelcome. And it is more than 2km walk into town. Not the 1 the hotel claims. So bear that in mind. On the whole, disappointing. Look elsewhere. Dear Mister curryFirst of all, thank you to take your time to give us your impression, we will appreciate that you told us when you checked out, about the check in, if you saw the linens on the floor, it's because you arrive in advance and we gave you the key before the check in time, and we don't put on the floor the mattress. In the restaurant I'm really disappointed if you get this feeling our team try to do the best to satisfy all of our guests. And to finish, when you ask how far is the old city, we are speaking in time and not in km, the distance is about 20 minutes walking it depends the sense of the windBest regardsAnne

Due to the reviews we expected a lot from this place. In retrospect we realize: some things were good, many things were not. Both appetizers were disappointing, the ravioli watery, the beetroots close to tasteless. Of two times calf one was massively tough. The pre-ordered dessert was sold out at the end. Conclusion: disappointing.Dear Francis, First of all thank you for your review. Your remarks imply an answer from us.The ravioli (which are 3) are not "watery". They came on plate with a celery water wich is a full part of the receipe. It's a shame that you didn't undersand that as it is written on the menu. The beetroot may not been your taste but how could be a beetroot tasteless ! It's marinated into red wine sauce and comes on plate with sour cream spum, smoked duckling breast, wild peppers mix and fines herbs ! Maybe the beetroot wasn't what you expected as you asked our waitress many times "what is a beetroot ?" ! I'm also really suprised about one the calf beeing "tough" as both of your pieces comes from the same animal. Nevertheless you didnt asked us for another one we would had been pleased to prepare again especially for you. Finally, again, we aplogogize that the chocolate dessert you pre-order wasnt avaiblable but I personnaly decided to don't serve it as it didn't meet the quality level that I impose on kitchens.
