A delightful lunch with friends on a busy holiday week-end. The restaurant specializes in fine wines paired with delicious "planches," which are small wooden boards on which are served varieties of charcuterie, cheeses, terrines, etc. We each tried a different one, and were so happy with our choices that we didn't end up sharing much! The bottle of Alsatian riesling we drank was one of the best I've had, and the desserts--salade de fraise, tarte au pommes--were splendid, and of course everything was prepared at the restaurant. There are rare occasions when one can see and taste the degree of care and dedication that goes into preparing a meal and running a seamlessly excellent enterprise--our lunch was one of these times. The handsome owner could not have been more charming too.

The most unexpectedly original and high quality meal I have ever had in a Logis de France establishment! From the amuse-bouches - one of them a delicious cactus juice sorbet - to the exquisitely presented starters and mains, and the wonderful cheeseboard, I can't fault the place. And that was just the 39 Euro menu! On top of all that, there is a terrace looking on to the River Seine which on the day of our visit was as vividly green as an impressionist painting. We will definitely return.

Went there for family lunch.Food was good, restaurant interior is a bit outdated and could have been cleaner.Table was sticky.Toilets could be smelled from the seating area.Score of average is really an average.Food quality and friendliness of staff were good, but overall score brought down by previously mentioned points.Compared to competitors they have some improvements to make.

Un garage reconverti en restaurant, autant dire un lieu avec une histoire peu banale mais une réussite en terme d'accueil et de qualité des plats !

It's a standard steakhouse with a standard plastic coated menu. But the food was good and well served by a friendly waiter. Good that staying in the Arena hotel up the road we got a 15% discount.Happy to know you satisfied ! See you soon at courtepaille's place

Lunch menu â¬19 No choicesStarter: Bits of fried bacon on half a handful of packet lettuce mix with croutons and dry, finely grated Parmesan. And a mustard vinaigrette. Main course: A piece of ordinary steak served with a halved round courgette filled with a watery mix of bulgur wheat and a hint of tomato. A tiny glass dish of whole grain mustard. Dessert: I skipped the Crumble. Nice setting. Such a shame that 1970âs food is still served here. Good service although the very young waitress kept asking people if they had finished before they actually did. Dear Sir, I'm sorry that you aren't enjoyed about our restaurant. Thank you for the description about our menu at 19â¬. You have no choice in this menu because it changes every Tuesday. It's a simple menu, very old fashion but traditionnal. We have also some others menu and à la carte where we are different taste and product who could be appreciate.I 'm sorry about the service, the very youg lady is an apprentice and she is just starting in the Auberge de Nicey and also learning. Don't hesitate to contact me for more information Laurence FERY 00.33.325.24.10.07Best regards Laurence FERY

This place was recommended by our hosts at Le Château de mon Père and we were not disappointed. The food was freshly cooked, well presented and tasty. It was very reasonably priced too! Like our hosts I would also recommend it and sit in the enclosed courtyard again.
