Restaurant Dédié Aux Réceptions, Privées, De Travail, Pour Les Groupes D'un Minimum De 15 Personnes Et Sur Réservation à L'avance. Salle Proposée En Location Avec Un Office Ãquipé. Vidéo Projection Possible, Paper Board A Disposition
We had noticed that a previous restaurant had changed ownership, so we decided to give it a try. Firstly, we found the menu quite limited, not many options and not cheap!. Secondly, the atmosphere was cold, no other diners and a radio playing from the kitchen. The waiter/proprietor wasn't very welcoming, but warmed to his task later. We did notice a number of people look at the menu outside and decide to drive on.However, the food and wine were excellent. If the ambience was improved and the menu broadened, it could become somewhere we might use more often.

To find the restaurant is pretty confusing on a main busy road... The welcoming= 0! Poor tables, ornamented by cheap colors and general 'no taste'. We tryed to change table and this was refused to us as it was too difficult to move 2 forks spoons and glasses (I precise that the other tabes were not resrved). No effort to be kind with clients- the caricature of the French roaring-! With no regret we decided to pass our way and get to another closed restaurant not to be hostages of that trap

We had lunch twice at LâEnvol and on both occasions everything about the experience was superb. Sarah is a fantastic maitre dâ who provides excellent service. The restaurant offers great value for money as they do a lunch menu for 16 euros which includes a main course, dessert and coffee. We have been so impressed with lunch weâre going for dinner next week. You have to visit this restaurant!!!

Don't be put off by the exterior - the approach along the main road doesn't promise much. And the menu board on display doesn't sound very exciting. However, the waiter was helpful and friendly, and the choices that were available on the night included some freshly cooked specials. The stuffed tomatoes were great. Pizzas were generously topped, steak was good, and the chips were delicious. Some of us managed deserts, and again the special of creme brûlée was very good, as were other choices. As there were eight of us, we were able to test the menu pretty thoroughly; it was all good. And all for about £16 a head including a generous amount of drinks and tip. Recommended.

We enjoyed our dinner here and had the grilled prawns, the steak, the goats cheese salad, and the scallops. All were very good but perhaps the sorbets for dessert were the very best with the flavors of raspberry, lemon, passionfruit, and rum and raisin; all were superb. It was a reasonably priced meal as well.

We were looking for a place for lunch and stopped here because it looked quite popular with the locals. The food was good but the choices for lunch were quite limited. We each had just an entrée and dessert. The desserts were especially yummy. However, it was a high-priced lunch. Might be a better selection for a fancy dinner out.

Everything about this restaurant was excellent - the warm welcome we received when we arrived, the decor and ambiance of the restaurant itself and the friendly and helpful assistance with interpreting the menu. Then there was the food - it was absolutely delicious! And lots of it. We were extremely grateful that our lovely B&B hosts told us about this restaurant, which is only open Friday (lunch and dinner), Saturday (lunch and dinner) and Sunday lunch. The food kept arriving at our table, course after course, plus two bottles of wine - all of this for 34 euros each. No wonder it was full of locals. Sadly visitors probably don't get to know about it unless it is recommended, as in our case.

This is a nice venue which deserves a good restaurant but has never had one. I think this has just changed hands so we'll see. The service is friendly and there is a smallish menu with enough choice for a casual meal. We chose pizza which were either good or disastrous depending on your selection. My wifes was awful, a pizza base smothered in way too much melted cheese, mine was similar, soggy cheese. Some of the others were ok, this was after we'd had a couple of their sharing platters to start which were fine.To be fair they did remove the untouched pizza from the bill without us asking. So it's great if you like cheese!!Dear dale curtisI regret your last experience about the cheese. We work hard to do the best pizzas. However, we can do mistake. We apologize. We hope to see You soon with us.

This restaurant continues to deliver day after day, week after week, year after year. Hugely popular with the locals, the food is superb, the service impeccable and the ambience great. A friendly, fun place. Prices are good value and the formula at lunchtimes, attractive.

A pleasant small hotel with excellent restaurant in quiet countryside. We were attracted to this hotel by the nationwide Tous Au Restaurant offer as part of the Gastronomic weekend. The meal was very good and was served under the shade of of a large wisteria. An amuse bouche was followed by a tasty foire gras with sweet dark confiture de olive, a nice combination. The main was a delicious fillet of Dorade with girolle mushrooms followed by a complex dessert of chocolate and ice cream. Even though it was a special offer I thought the menu price at 45 euros was a bit on the high side for a normal meal. Service was friendly and cheerful.
