The atmosphere is amazing, the hotel is brand-new and I loved the place (9/10)The staff was new, yet more than ok: kind and smiling even if you could notice the processes are not in place yet - which makes sense; it had just opened (7.5/10)The menu has some unusual and original choices and whatever you are having is well-prepared, tasty (9/10) and in reasonable quantity (7.5/10).Usually, hotel rates are high and the notes become pricey but I found it very reasonable.Overall experience is a 8.5/10 - I'll go back, and probably sleep there as the hotel looks very nice (receptionists are amazingly kind, professional, friendly and patient !!)Dear, Many thanks for your positive review concerning your stay here in Martin's Agora. Expensive for what it was. I guess they thrive on the visitors of the museum who don't realise there's some nice eateries nearby. Two not so sophisticated Caesar salades, a spaghetti Bolognese with hardly enough sauce and one round of sparkling water and we were set back 55 â¬...

I've been living in the region for nearly 10 years and always I wanted to go visit this place. It looks uninviting and a bit run down but still, my secret hope was that the inside would make up for the uninspired outside. Well I was wrong. The cooking is exactly like the interior which is a perfect reflection of the exterior: not worth the money. The food wasn't exactly bad. The service was actually friendly (if a bit gruff). But I can do a more dedicated and delicate job at home, and it will cost much less. Conclusion: I do not intend to go back.

Nous avons très bien mangé dans cette brasserie. Large choix dans la carte. De quoi satisfaire tout le monde. Qualité de la viande très bonne.

Diner on a Thursday evening. The place was rather full. The reception and service are very enthusiastic and professional. The menu offers a wide selection.I choose the sea bream (dorade). The fish didn't taste very fresh and was served lukewarm. There's a wide selection of wine by the glass. The quality varies.

Elegant, fashionable and cozy place, with good food adhead !I have been already three times there over the last few months and will be back. Liked the originality of the menu, discreet jazzy music and polite staff. High ethical standards, tasty food, cosy atmosphere, and lovely staff... What else can you ask for? I love this place and visit it every time I am in Louvain-la-Neuve. A lot of veggie, organic, fair traded and local options!

This is among the restaurants we frequent when home cooking is out of the option so we are very familiar with it as we've been regular clients since more than 10 years. The traditional yet cosy interiors add to the ambiance but lately, the use of what seemed to be "home-made paintings" on the walls and Ikea glasses start to diminish the classiness of the resto. Food is still very good and surely on Thursdays, one can get a real good deal. For EUR55 they have an all-in offer: drinks from aperitif to coffee/tea plus the 3-course-meal. The mise-en-bouche of Chef Carmelo is always cream-based, not typical for Italian chefs to be inclined to "crème fraiche" but it is always a good breaker. But altogether, he always comes up with a good fusion of western ingredients. Marie, his wife, is often in-charge of the dessert and she's quite good at it too. The only setback is that often the lady at the service (you have to go to the restaurant yourself to know who) has stinking underarms, which for a sensitive person like myself, can be a real turn-off. We're already used to her not-so-refined manners, which first-timer friends whom we invite there always notice, as we just find it her ways of being friendly, but you can surely count on her efficiency. Just cover your nose when something is brought to your table if you come during the "bad under-arm days". I also use their "traiteur" services for birthdays or Christmas.

Bar-restaurant completely restored with great terrace. Complete Menu monday - friday, sports menu on Week ends. Bar Always open.
We now and then have lunch at the restaurant of the Tennis Club du Parc. The food is really delicious. The menu offers mainly traditional dishes. This summer the menu included some very interesting salads composed with original ingredients. Very tasty, very original. You should try them. I hope you get to enjoy lunch on the terrace. With the Belgian weather, that's not so evident. However it'll make your lunch even more enjoyable.

It started quite well, with a sympathetic waitress, good weather (!!), nice wine...the starter was also not that bad: salade with bacon and goat cheese and apple, a (to) big portion. But you won't hear me complain to much about that. Then the main dish: cote d'agneau with speculoos, with gratin dauphinois and vegetables......that's when the nightmare started: the potato dauphinois was swimming in butter, the lamb was over cooked and from a bad cut, the veggies where dull. On top of that: when we said something about it, they (weather and chef) just confirmed what we said and pretended that it was like that, and that's the way it is......isn't that a lyric from some hiphop song? (it's a old tune that I don't like anymore!!!!!)
