We came here on way to Strasbourg airport with friends. It's part of the chocolate museum. Foie gras to start followed by chicken breast with seasonal vegetables then apple cake. Overall excellent food in a old fashioned 1920-1930s train carriage...

I went to Aux trois fleurs with friends last year. It was Friday night and we didn't make any reservations. Still, we got a table and the service was very kind and welcoming. Food and wine was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I regularly stay at the nearby Chateau de l Il and have eaten here several times over the past years but these days the place is empty and I'm not sure why. For the second time in recent months I ate there on a Tuesday evening only one of two tables . The service is adequate, efficient but not remotely friendly, the food similarly satisfactory, nothing more. Perhaps time to change the menu ( it hasn't changed at all in at least 6 years!) ? Not sure how it keeeps going but it's a pity because there is little in Ostwald and there really is nothing objective to complain about, you just don't feel inclinded to walk in when there is no one there so it's a vicious circle....

We ate on the terrace. It's a not really according with the classy interior, but it was our choice. They serve a nice summerly menu, 5 courses for 35â¬.It was all nicely presented, but all in all somewhat rudely and basic. The amuse said it all right from the beginning: pea soup, which was not passed trough a strainer, with rudely chopped radishes. It was bland too.Still, I want to be positive: it was all tasting very natural and cooked to perfection, no fuss. They have a fabulous winelist, although only French. But we are in France, no?Relaxed, friendly service.Website promises more than they serve.

Staying close by I booked this restaurant for our first night in Strasbourg. We arrived early and were quickly and happily shown to our table. The menu is just the right size with multiple option but not too overwhelming. The fois gras was wonderful and my friend and I shared the canard with orange & cognac and the boeuf with mushrooms. Both were superb. Our waiter selected a bottle of wine to accompany our meal and it was perfect. PS. We dined here the night of the Christmas Market shooting. Our host kept us up to date with what was going on, made us feel very safe and were very accommodating.

At 16 Euros per plate, the quality and presentation of the food was much better than we were expecting. I was especially impressed by the creativity and subtlety of flavors in my wife's side dish, in which I suspect they used the thickest part of a leek root. They also informally offered children's meals in beef, fish, or chicken at a very fair price. Highly recommended.

Wow, I am very surprised that this will be a first English review for this amazing restaurant. Located in a cave, it offered the best service and food in Alsace. The owner is one of the most attentive and friendliest people we have encountered in France. He told us his English was not that great (not true, by the way:) and went out of his way to help us experience the best local products. We tried different beers, got the best wine to accompany local foie gras and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food considering the place is quite literally in the middle of nowhere. One note - the entree portions are HUGE. Definitely share the main course if you ordered appetizers. Alsacian food is heavier in general so you have been warned! Again, great choice for dinner near Strasbourg Airport.

There are good reasons why this is a busy restaurant, uncomplicated food beautifully cooked, fabulous home made desserts, friendly welcoming staff, and for us just a 10 minute walk from our hotel. We visited The Belle Vue during a recent stay in Ostwald, and we enjoyed it so much, we went back again, and guess what, it was even better the second time.
