I traveled to Megeve especially to visit Emanuel Renautâs restaurant. There is nothing pretentious here - first Mr. Renaut greeted his guests out on the balcony overlooking the mountains that inspire his cooking. Later inside, he surprised us with subtle flavors containing mountain elements - herbs in particular. Even the salad course, with geranium oil made me smile. My favorite herb was the âcrysilusâ ? (Wood sorrel leaves I think) - a citrusy tang that lit up my venison and strawberry dessert. And then there was the Porcini heâd found that morning while hiking. I could smell the mountain on my plate!

Welcome to La Table des Armaillis, Cuisine de Montagne in Les Saisies selected in the MICHELIN guide France 2019. Discover the culinary world of Joan Bois: a gourmet and generous cuisine around local products.
We have been to Les Saisies since several years. This year we discovered this new restaurant. For us is has been a great experience: french cusine gastronomique with japanese influence, a great combination for us. We had a menu of 5 services as a family. Everything is very fresh and intensively prepared with taste. The location of the restaurant is a little bit outside the center of Les Saisies but easy reachable even by foot (15 min).

Get in even if the front side is not that exciting. The food inside is very good, and the chef will give you the opportunity to complain if any problem as he is visiting each single table at the end... Meat is just perfect. Ask for specific dishes not on the menu like fondue. They donât want to look like all other places around, but they can do just for you typical Savoyard specialities if you really wish.

Stayed as a family of five (children 5, 7 and 9) in Crest Voland to celebrate 10th wedding Anniversary. We ate at this place 3nights in a row. The pasta on offer was lovely, children enjoyed it. Pizzas are large and tasty too. Desserts were delicious, the children enjoyed the chocolate fondue two nights on the trot. The feel is very relaxed and service impeccable. If you are visiting the area I strongly recommend a visit.

We've been there several times. Its a very friendly village bar-restaurant, with standard savoyard food - fondues, grilled steak, that's about it. At lunch there's also a very nice plat du jour. Book if its a busy week in ski season- they do fill up. The outdoor terrace has absolutely stunning views over the Arly river gorge (although it's too cold to eat outdoors after dark). Perfect for an easygoing fondue as part of your alpine holiday.

Patron Jean Baptiste runs a charming bistrot right on the edge of the Ski Slopes of Mont Rond. Dishes, of course, contain local cheese and meats. Tartiflette and the Escalope Savoyarde are to be recommended, as are their burgers. This is a great lunchtime stop but also very pleasant for a dinner of raclette or fondue. There is a nice outside terrace for warm sunny days. Service is very much with a smile and we were always greeted warmly It is a great little place for a snack or more substantial meal. Excellent all round.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was good. My wife and I both had the menu but she had a veal dish and I had pork. The presentation for both was beautiful and everything quite tasty. We started with fried goat cheese which was wonderful and finished with a cherry and cream desert. The flowers outside the restaurant are absolutely fantastic! We will be returning!!!

We visited on a quiet Tuesday lunchtime and despite being the only clients we enjoyed a wonderful lunch. The tartiflette with prunes was delicious and all the dishes were local and authentic. Service is polite and discrete. I encourage everyone to visit! But do go when you are very hungry - portions are generous. This place is a rare find in an area otherwise full of substandard overpriced restaurants, congratulations to the owners for a great meal.

Traditional home-made cooking. South facing terrace not overlooked with a view of the Beaufortain massif. Direct ski access to the foot.
New owners since the start of the year. Great menu, reasonable prices, and friendly, helpful staff. A bit difficult to find as it is not on the Main Street, but well worth looking for. Menu doesnât have an English translation, which in my book is a good thing. After all, you have google translate on your phone. All the dishes are good, all the usual Savoy fare, but their mini barbecue hot stone periade was an interesting and exciting change. Well worth a visit for a pleasant evening.
