This Michelin-recommended restaurant along the Ringvaart Canal is in a typical Dutch private house style with low ceilings and a rather uncomplicated décor. The cuisine is French/Dutch with occasional, slightly, Oriental influences. The amuse-bouche including a sip of creamy soup and shrimp cocktail did pleasantly arouse my appetite. The starter with various preparations of mackerel was well above ordinary and fresh. The entremets of quail piccata with green asparagus was equally enjoyable without being stunning. The main dish of salmon and cannelloni filled with spinach was the highlight of the day; simply delicious. The wine (William Fevre Chablis 2012) paired very well with the dishes, enhancing the positive impact. For dessert, the ice cream with raspberries was decorated with white chocolate. Along with a decent cup of espresso it was a worthy closing of this meal. The service was good and less formal than expected. The bill for two persons came to 120 Euro. Perfect? No. But the Oude Dykhuys is a genuinely high quality restaurant that I want to visit more often, disregarding my financial constraints.

Ich have been here auf few years before and they have kept und their Level in anderen touristic environment where the temptation is big to lower your colours to what everybody else is doing there. They offer meals (you choose the number of courses) and the composition is vergessen sophisticated, down to the desserts. Fish, very good choices of meat going with veggies in a very modern and nice way. The advice on the Wine was very helpful, as my choice on the house wine was not to my taste. The aussie replacement was first category.

Latour is a well-established culinary institution having one Michelin star awarded as of 2005.The interior is stylish in a classical way with ample room between the tables to ensure privacy which is a rarity these days. We chose the epic 7 course menu with a bottle of the excellent Meursault 'Les Narvaux' 2015 as recommended by the sommelier. The amuse-bouches were nice without making much of an impact. Much more convincing was the wonderful starter of the pickled fish & horseradish. I was not really taken by the beef tartare with ox tongue, but the trout & tiger prawn was pleasant, so was the precisely prepared (what I thought was..) halibut. The main course of duck breast was good only to be distorted by the salty fried pastry. The 'double dessert' of firstly yuzu and secondly Jerusalem artichoke were fine pieces of art.Service was correct overall although the younger staff could pay more attention to courtesy. The bill for two including mineral water came to 300 EUR. That is no bargain by any standard, but with a more modest wine and less copious 5 courses, the typical bill would be around 240 EUR.Last but not least; the piano playing gentleman deserves a special mention. His joyful play gave that extra cachet to the evening.

This restaurant opened a few months ago and I have eaten there 4 times already - every time has been a great experience, and I cant understand why this restaurant is ranked 14 out of 23 restaurants in Noordwijkerhout - it is much better than that !The concept of this restaurant is that it is a fixed price that includes every dish on the menu, and all of your drinks for the very reasonable price of â¬37.5 per person at weekends & â¬32.5 ( I think ) on other days. The dishes are very well presented, the staff are very welcoming, and the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant very good. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant if you want some good food & drink at a very reasonable price.

I taught this was supposed to be the best restaurant in Hotel van Oranje but maybe we had our expectations up too high after restaurant Oriento. We took a four course Asparagus menu. Unfortunately they completely messed up the first course, the second course was not really our taste, the main course and desert were really good luckily. I should say I give them credit for admitting that they forget some of the ingredients in the first course but still they did nothing to make it good. I have enjoyed better menus for 150⬠(for 2 inclusive wine and apero). We left the restaurant slightly disappointed. Service here was good as well but not as good as in Oriento. I cannot recommend this restaurant.Fun thing about this restaurant is that many dishes seem to be prepared next to your table, unfortunately none of the asparagus menu.Dear Country_hopper99,Thank you for your feedback, unfortunately, the evening is not as you expected. I hope you come back and we can meet up to your expectation. The feedback given the dishes I will discuss with the chef.Warm regards,Evelien Jongert

Restaurant Iets Anders is open daily, we offer a great menu in French bistro style and we are available for groups but when you are looking for a romantic dinner for 2 you will be suprised what we have to offer, so now it's time for something different!
Friends recommend us to this restaurant, it has a nice atmosphere and welcoming staff. The starters were better than average (scallops) but the rest was all very average. The fish brochette was fine but not special. My husbandâs pork tenderloin was very dry. The starter bread was what you can buy in a grocery store. All to say...I can cook better at home. No need to pay such money for this food. We wonât be back, too bad.

I am surprised that this place is rated so low in comparison to other dining venues in Noordwijkerhout. Once you get past the fact that you are dining at a golf course clubhouse, Tespelduyn is actually a great choice for dinner. We were trying to dine in the main village square of Noordwijkerhout, but we arrived during the preparations for the annual flower parade and everything was full. The tourist office recommended we drive the four or five kilometers to this location and we were not disappointed. Our table overlooked a tulip field (others overlook the golf course), service was good, and the food was outstanding. My party tried the duck breast, catch of the day, and grilled tender beef bavette for dinner â all were well prepared and very flavorful. Each dish was approximately 20 Euros. I would definitely dine here again if in the area.

The lunch we had was fantastic. My wife, a vegetarian was specially impressed with her salad. I has the flower based tuna dish which was sooo tasty and our guest had the seafood special which had tastes of various fishes. The service was impecable and nice to see proper cutlery and linen. Cannot fault the restaurant.
