Well prepared regional dishes including fish, meats, veggies. Attentive service. Al fresco seating with dynamic lake and mountain views. I stayed in the hotel and had two dinners and a lunch here. Some clients stop here for drinks after work. It's also located across from the train depot. So you might train here for lunch and return toward Biel or Lake Geneva.

âLa Table de Palafitteâ favours local market produce with a menu which follows the seasons. Totally encased in large French windows, the restaurant opens onto the sumptuous surrounding nature with the terrace as the only barrier. Chef David Sauvignet took
We had a good time for a romantic dinner.Very nice menu with salmon, topinambour soup with truffle oil and local cured ham, chicken to follow and the dessert chariot. Nice choice of wine. The MO is a concept of grill restaurant based on the cow, a theme you can find in the logo, the decoration but also in the plate : pure Swiss beef declined into tartares, burgers and grilled meet such as T-Bone steaks or beef filet !
At this restaurant itâs all about meat dishes (there are veggie options too), juicy burgers with local cheeses etc are the speciality There is a pleasant terrace, but donât expect a fantastic view though. And finally the welcoming, easy going and accommodating staff make this place truly likable. Will go back

When we were invited we did not thought much about eating at a tennis club but once inside the mood and reception was already first class with nice tables. The host and the staff were extremely service orientated and helpfull. The food was of very good quality and also the choise of wine sufficient and they had some very good suggestions. My wife and me had the sole muniere and we expected this to be the same as we normally eat in Holland where they have daily fresh fish but we forgot that Switzerland is far from any sea. We noticed that is has been frozen which does not add to the taste. It was nice but not superb. We should have chosen the river fish or the meat dishes our other companians took and which tasted very good indeed. However we never regretted to come down there and we could only wish that tennis clubs in Holland should serve the same dishes as here. So we recommend this restaurant. They also have outside seatings but as it was raining we were unable to eat outside. Salutations Fabrice.

The Jura opened in 1862 and serves a range of good local food including perch from the lake and fondue as well as light modern salads. The décor is dark wood and attractive posters of long-ago events. Service is good and quick. Located in a quiet side street near Neuchâtel's busy Place de Pury and a short walk from the lake.

What more could you want? Really fresh food, seasonal menu including fish tartar. Very tasty, price worthy of both quality and quantity. Friendly service! Definitely worth the detour as it is not very central but plenty of room to park. Will definitely go back ! Thank you so much for your comment! We are so glad that you had a pleasant break in our restaurant. See you soon!

Our restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday and is closed on Sunday and all bank holidays. The CARDINAL Brasserie in Neuchatel is an historical place featuring colored eartherware on walls which are protected and part of architectural heritage. You dis
Great spot, courteous waiter. Our fondu was delicious as well as the muscles . Main courses were very good with generous portions. We had localwines and beer suggested by our waiter and his choices were excellent. We went early but the place was packed by 7 pm so you may want to reserve. I would return when visiting neuchatel again. Nice to read those words on our restaurant. thanks a lot for taking this time to share your experience. Best,

Right in the middle of the town there is this sort of castel with a large garden and you can go eat there... Very beautiful. And the meal was delicious too, we had some fish and everything was very good.

Upon first walking into Le Bureau you wonder if you have entered the wrong place. The ambiance and decor are underwhelming; plastic chairs, white clapboard walls and lighting that is too bright. We were greeting by the owner Jean Martin and immediately realized that we had made no mistake. In a country where service is generally reserved and quite often surly or non-existent Jean Martinâs understated, warm and welcoming approach stands out. The small menu features seasonal fresh items changed monthly, 5 appetizers, 5 mains and 5 desserts. The food preparation, quality and creativity were top notch. To start we enjoyed fois gras with a rhubarb compote and shrimp and avocado salad, our main dish was a chicken dish with a deliciously subtle wasabi sauce. Dessert was a homemade rhubarb ice cream parfait. A wide selection of wines by the glass were reasonable priced, as was the meal. Overall, a very satisfying dining experience.

The place is famous for its great cuisine, but they propose also few very pleasant rooms. In the restaurant you can choose "Ã la carte" or take one of their 7 or 9 plates menus. The real bargain is their "Bistro" formulae - fine dining for very, very reasonable price. If you are looking for inventive, perfectly presented and very tasty food this is the right place.
