Great variety of delicious galettes (entrees) and crepes (dessert). The menu goes on and on and everything tastes so good! Add to this a nice cup of cider and a very nice dining room or outdoor seating area and you're all set for an excellent time! Also, you'll fill up without emptying your wallet which is a nice bonus :)

We stayed at the nearby Novotel at the Golf National, home of the 2018 Ryder Cup and 8 of us chose to eat at Alyson Kfe on Friday 21 October and arrived by taxi.Menu looked good and soon we placed our orders for starters and main. The starter arrived double quick and once we finished and the table was cleared, the main courses arrived even faster. The food was really good, steak & frites, cotelette de veau, fish etc...but the delivery of the food was just too fast. After desert we asked for the bill and also if the hosts could order us two taxis for the Novotel. Much to our surprise and bemusement we were presented with the Yellow Pages and asked to sort it all out ourselves.....Surely not the total service package were are accustomed to when dining out....Suffice to say that we 'sorted it out ourselves' as we had some fluent French speakers amongst us but not a satisfying end to what was a very good (if too quick) dining experience up to the 'taxi point'. Recommend the food and general ambiance but please ensure you have a local taxi service phone number at hand.

We paid 84 euro for two: two courses each, one half bottle of wine. I had dried out duck liver on a dried out blini on some kind of pumpkin puree to start followed by three scallops and one very small piece of salmon as a main course. It was one of the worst meals I have eaten in a long time. And 84 euro for two for such poor quality - I will be writing a letter of complaint directly to the restaurant. We are local in the area and ahve tried most all the restaurants in St Quentin en Yvelines. This is one that we will NEVER go back to. The only positive was the service.

I do not apprecaite so much French cousine but it was ok. Waiters and Owner very polite and customer friendly. Good desserts.

It seems difficult to find a good-quality restaurant in St Quentin en Yvelines so we decided to try Le Carre for lunch. We each had the lunch special (16 euros 50) - it was carpaccio de boeuf and a red fruit mousse for dessert. I had a glass of wine and my wife had water. With two coffees the bill came to 45 euros (for two) which is relatively reasonable given the quality of the food. The decor is simple and contemporary - there is an open kitchen. The service was efficient - there were not too many customers when we were there. We will come back for dinner some time soon to see how that is.

I had dinner at this restaurant with a friend of mine yesterday evening. After a drink and an appetizer in the outdoor area, we moved inside for the main dish. The wine by the glass is not served in front of the guests from the bottle but in the bar area. Out of the three bottles of wine we were recommended and then asked to see, only one - the most expensive - was brought to our table because the others were ânot available anymoreâ. We ordered two entrecôte, aged meat at 200â¬/kg, 300 grams each and in the end we got two fatty and badly cooked steaks. The waiter, while serving us and other clients, kept sitting, drinking and eating at another table with two friends of his, without washing his hands between one break and the other. Final bill: approximately 84⬠per person for a decent appetizer, two glasses of unknown wine and one horrible entrecôte.

La Terrasse has no grand menu featuring loads of various starters, mains and desserts... It has opted for the daily formula offer, one or two to choose from, freshly prepared, well balanced, and the prices remain reasonable (29 Euros for starter + main + dessert).I have no objection whatsoever to that option, which remains a guarantee of freshness. All is homemade, the restaurant is simple and comfortable, guests are made welcome, what else can one ask for...?

I'm not disappointed about the quality of the food and their service, I really enjoyed the recommendations of the hostess; however, I found it a bit overpriced in the end. I consider they are doing a pretty good job, the ambiance is nice and they are very friendly and definitively will go again when staying in the neighborhood.

Quaint traditional French cafe in small neighborhood plaza visited this evening. Offer a classy but approachable interior and a relaxed, outdoor patio near another restaurant and plenty of seating. Arrived on a weeknight while in the area on business...no reservation... and received a warm neighborhood welcome by every member of the wait staff who were delighted to help introduce items on the menu and ensure we were well taken care of. Menu offers a range of classics and innovative dish specials. Favorite dish was grilled asparagus over a savory pastry with foamed cream and herbs over this with a hint of spice...delicious. Many tables taken on an everyday Tuesday evening reminded us further they take pride in this restaurant and all guests. Bravo. Would recommend and would gladly return when in the area again.
