Reviews on French food in Monte-Carlo, Monaco. Monte-Carlo is home to the celebrated Monte Carlo Casino. This glamorous palace is full of frescoes, sculptures, and features an astonishing gold and marble atrium—not to mention the main attraction—gambling! Steeped in 700 years of Grimaldi royal history, Monte-Carlo’s location is stunning, tucked between French medieval villages and the Alps. Take in a world-class opera or ballet, bask in the sun on Larvotto Beach or get an adrenaline rush at May's Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Be tempted by the breakfast, the lunch and the dinner, between sky & sea, at the Horizon Restaurant, on the 7th floor with a 360° view over the Principality's legendary Opera House, Prince's Palace, and Casino - against a backdrop of the renowned & Rivier
Easy to book online for and many reviews here on Tripadvisor. To ger there go to Fairmont hotel and it is on the 7th floor. You will be made to feel very special the moment you walk into the restaurant. We cannot thank Mattia and the team enough who were very attentive and accomodative. We changed the time to later and the team even remembered that it was my partner's 'birtfday' from the online booking. The ambience was lovely, beautiful views of the med sea and romantic. We sat on the deck and the weather was just perfect. Yes there was evidence of construction and there was a leaflet explaining the vision for Fairmont in 2020. This did not affect us as we came in the evening for dinner. We had the delicious starters rockfish local soup (apologies did not take a photo but was absolutely fantastic) and the cobb salad. The mains menu was mainly seafood but my partner loved the grilled fillet beef, Pont-neuf potatoes with bearnaise sauce was delicious. I had the delicious snacked squid and prawns with Zucchini. We enjoyed our vodka and tonics. There was a wide selection of wine and champagne. The desserts were a treat with crunchy cocoa and giandula dessert and strawberry and lemon. My partner absolutely love the latter and finished it without my help which is rare! The team came out singing happy birthday in French style with birthday cake sparklers. We both enjoyed the Horizon and would recommend it for a romantic experience. Will definitely come back soon :) Dear Nephronking,First of all, we would like to thank you for taking time to share your experience with us,We sincerely appreciate and thank you for choosing Horizon Restaurant to host you during your visit. We are delighted that you had such an amazing time and we are very flattered by your kind words.Your positive comments are very appreciated by Mattia and our team, who work hard each day to make sure our guests leave with a smile. We look forward to welcoming you back in our Horizon Restaurant,Best regards,Mineo Alessandro

LE PETIT BAR :cuisine bistrot /brasserie Francaise mijotee, a deguster au bord du zinc. Bistrot kitchen/ french home made food with all fresh produce to be enjoyed in good company or alone.
Ok. So i stumbled across this absolute gem of an establishment when i was hunting down a different restaurant. The other place was full which lead me down the road to this welcoming and cosy safw haven from the harsh streets of Monaco....sure. After about half a second of meeting the owner i recognised that ever distinguishable 'Aussie' accent. A fellow kangaroo fighter? What are the odds. He was more than accommodating for my Coeliac partner as we ordered our absolute degustation of goodness. A welcomed surprise restaurant that suits the age old story that indeed good things do come in small packages.

Located on the 8th floor of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, Le Grill offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Mediterranean. The roof opens entirely, so you can enjoy lunch in the sun and dinner under a starry sky on warm days. The cuisine features gril
My husband and I had a wonderfully memorable meal at Le Grill during a 30th anniversary trip to Provence. This restaurant had been highly recommended and did not disappoint! The atmosphere was lovely. It didn't hurt that we were seated on the balcony, thus having a front row view of the rising full moon over the sea! Staff were extremely professional and knowledgable while at the same time surprisingly un-stuffy. Our main server, Nicholas, was spot-on perfect in every respect, even encouraging me to come and say hello to one of the chefs and making inquiries for us when I asked what ingredients were included in the best salad I have ever eaten. The food was beautifully plated and every course was a delight. Dessert included a congratulatory message written on the plate in chocolate. We could not have asked for a better experience and we highly recommend Le Grill for any special occasion!

A small and hidden place in the heart of Monte Carlo - warm, white, essential - where you can taste the flavours of a real Italian kitchen, maybe fall in love with a glass of wine and spend some joyful time sitting at the table. Serving Italian breakfast
This restaurant was lovely and delicious. This tiny Italian restaurant is located in the heart of Monaco, inside a shopping mall in a very private, reserved part of it! It had great reviews here, so we decided to try it and absolutely happy we did so! Apparently the menu changes every day, and we were lucky enough the day we visited, to have 'Paccheri Bolognese' - a type of pasta in the shape of a very large tube, originating from Campania with the 'Bolognese sauce' a meat-based sauce in Italian cuisine, typical of the city of Bologna. It was sublime!! We also ordered 'Carpaccio Bresaola' a beef fillet which is first cured in salt and spices, and then hung to dry. We paid Euro 41,00 that for us it was perfectly fine - not necessarily too expensive, but again we live in London so the prices are similar. Value: 10/10 If you visit Monaco, trust me, you need to try it!

Some restaurants when they win their 2nd Michelin star, make the mistake of concentrating on demonstrating their technique and presentation, rather than the taste of their food. Joel Robuchon gets it right. What a nice change to see a 2 Michelin star restaurant have the old-fashioned dessert trolley with superb examples of many classic desserts. We were having a great time until a little white pot with a white lid arrived. We removed the lid to reveal glossy mashed potatoes. She took a forkful. I took a forkful. We burst out laughing it was so good. She took another forkful. I took another forkful. Shen then picked up a spoon. I glared ate her. She grabbed the pot and ate the rest greedily; scraping the pot clean.Gee, I used to love that daughter ;)Absolutely sublime food and service.Dear Sir, Thank you so much for dedicating some time to share your emotion after your experience at our Joel Robuchon restaurant. We are enchant to read your experience was âsublimeâ thanks our cuisine, our trolleys and our service. The objective of Chef Christophe Cussac and all our team is to provide a lovely memory to our guests so we are delighted that it worked for you. Looking forward to welcoming you back very soon. Yours sincerely, Olivier Lot Hotel Manager

If you are in Monaco please visit this restaurant as the food and service is amazing and this place deserves more than the 1 Michelin star it currently has. The beautiful setting, incredibly attentive service along with truly spectacular food make this a must dining experience for all. All menus are online via tablet and before we even had our starter we had 6 amuse bouche to try so please donât eat before you come here. The passion and enthusiasm of the staff is evident from the moment you enter and matches the truly extraordinary taste and visual experience of the food itself. Dear guest,Thank you for your visit and for your nice comments about the food and the service offered at the Blue Bay restaurant. We are pleased that you had a "spectacular" dining experience and that you felt the passion of our executive chef Marcel Ravin enjoying our escapade tasting menu.Looking forward to welcoming you back very soon.
