Premier visit to this restaurant for an evening meal. We were the first to be seated and enjoyed a polite and informative discussion with a member of the waiting staff as regards the choices of menu and wine available. The restaurant appeared to be popular with two large groups of eight people and parents with children. The service was good even though there was only two waiting staff. The menu is of a typically french nature with five/six different formule menus and an excellent choice of wines. The majority of wines were available by the glass giving the opportunity to try new wines without purchasing a bottle. We will visit again and try out the menu du jour selection.

Idéalement situé au bord du lac, ce restaurant est très agréable clair et aéré.Dommage quâil nây avait plus de foie de gras. En revanche, il y avait de bons Åufs en meurette. En plat, nous avons pris dâexcellents filets de Daurade le tout arrosé, pour ma part, dâun super MACON rouge . En dessert, un bon nougat glacé.Jâai bien aimé.

Petite pause chocolat thé, dans ce salon de thé accueillant, petite terrasse très agréable.Le chocolat chaud est bon et le service agréable. Des petites gourmandises sucré peuvent accompagner votre boisson chaude.

Endroit sympathique et conviviale, décoration moderne; bar à vins. Très bonne viande, accompagnements frais et bien cuits. Très bonne carte des vins avec prix plus quâhonnêtes. Service agréable et efficace. Seul bémol le zabayon annoncé du dessert .. qui était bon mais pas vraiment un zabayon ..

This restaurant is on the D980 near Mont St Vincent and offers a terrace for dining with views over the surrounding countryside. Service is efficient and usually the food is good - we hadn't visited for some years but the husband and wife team is the same. On this visit we had good starters, excellent desserts but a rather disappointing main course of free range chicken which was on the chewy side and lacked flavour. The accompanying sauce was also rather insipid and did nothing to lift the dish. We were disappointed in this course - maybe we chose badly, but menu choices are limited (which generally I consider good as it means the food is fresh, not frozen).Closed Tuesday evenings and Wednesday all day.In the past we have had game in season, and that was good.

Travelling with friends on the Canal and stopped here for the evening. The food was brilliant especially the Charrolais steak which was superb. The service was really good and the bill,surprisingly small for the quality of food. If we weren't moving on we would have gone twice.

We ate the menu "parfum du moment". 6 services: two different meats, two fishes, two desserts and cheeses. Cooking perfect, generously served and price really cheap regarding what was served. The only negative comment is a slow service but the restaurant was fully booked that saturday night

I went for a private event, catered by the restaurant. The staff were all very helpful and courteous and the catered food was wonderful, with particularly outstanding desserts (I would love to be able to have such perfect chocolate mousse on a regular basis!) The whole event was a real success, due mostly to the high quality catering and staff.
