We have had lunch at this mountain bistrot every year as part of our annual bike ride up the Toulerenc valley. We heard that there were perhaps new owners, but looked forward to our visit. We arrived on Pentecote Monday, but were given a table. After about 15 minutes we were given a menu. Another 15 minutes brought our entree. Other tables were similarly without food. After 90 minutes we paid for our entrees and left without the rest of lunch. The entree was good enough, but the three course wine with lunch, for 20 euros, should have been served within 3/4 of an hour-- there are only three choices of plat, this should not be difficult. The waiter explained the kitceh was very busy, but there is no excuse for such terrible service. We will not return, and are sad to have lost such a treasured stop in the Toulerenc.

What a lucky find we had on our motorbike, we stopped late afternoon and shared a meat and cheese platter with a panaché, then walked back for our evening dinner. Lovely food and very friendly hosts, this bistro is quirky and definitely worth a visit.
Very rustic home cooked food. Simple menu on a blackboard cooked by a mum. A friendly service. Could rosé wine. Great value for money. Highly recommended

On a bicycle trip we stopped for lunch here (as we did 2 years ago). The daily lunch menu was basic and inexpensive but just what we needed. We had an Italian salad (tomato mozzarella) , lasagna and an ice cream anddrank a decent rosé (which surprisingly was served from a bottle and a very good one too - Domaine du Rieu Frais). Each course was simple but well made and value for money wise we got a very good deal. This is the kind of lunch address you would want right around the corner from where you live.

We stumbled across this place after nearly running out of diesel after going up Mont Ventoux. It was market day in Bedoin and the atmosphere was great. We did not have much money but the children and I had great pizza and my wife a very good salad. Would recommend it.

Visiting Montbrun for a pumpkin festival, we came across this delightful restaurant in the centre of the village. Professionally appointed and decked out for Halloween, the lunch menu was varied and interesting, service good and the food nicely prepared.Well worth a detour.

We stopped for lunch in the beautiful village Montbrun les bains and took the carpaccio which was actually very good, fresh and well seasoned . Staff is a little classic 'frenchy' slow but the meal was good . Cheap tables and chairs in this small place along the main road . This is not a restaurant to wine and dine but rather ideal for a quick meal .

What more could you want, sitting on the terrace with a perfect view of Mont Ventoux?Jean Michel is the perfect host and now that Ludovic has joined him as the chef this restaurant has improved yet again. There are different menus to choose from and you can mix and match as you like. The restaurant has gained the Bottin Gourmand accolade this year and it shows. Also new to the establishment is an extensive wine cellar that Jean Michel has built up.This is a lovely place to have meal whether it be for lunch or dinner and we will always visit when we are in this area.
