We were searching for a functional meal at a reasonable price, and were hoping for a good meal, but were blown away by the standard of service, quality of the food and presentation.I chose the set menu while my partner went with one of the chef's suggestions for the day. Both were really good. The service was impeccable; young waiter incredibly friendly and more than happy to make suggestions when we hesitated. He also frequently came by to make sure we were enjoying our meal.Ambience of the restaurant was cozy, and appropriate for intimate occasions as it was not at all noisy.Great value for money, all things considering. Fine-dining experience for the price of a regular meal. We recommend this place. Please note that as of time of writing, the restaurant's website shows their menu but it's outdated. The prices and foods offered have changed. This is why we've added photos of the menu taken at the restaurant when we ate, to give other travellers a better idea of what to expect.

Cuisine gourmande et créative de produits frais de saison. Un cadre moderne, élégant et décontracté. Une cuisine authentique, sensorielle et de coeur.
As aperitif we had a very nice house rose 'la vie en rose'. Really nice! (Rather than accepting the offer from the waiter for rather expensive cocktails). I had a starter with very nice vegetables and 'os'. The latter is an acquired taste. I thought it was some kind of veal or so. It is a large bone with rather fat bone marrow. Not for the faint hearted. My wife had a better starter with coquilles St. Jacques. As a main we either had tuna and Angus beef. The tuna was good. The Angus beef did not meet my expectations. True there was no fat as the waiter claimed, but it was clearly not free of tendons. I don't remember the name, but it was a square, flat piece. Accompanied by a glass of a very nice house red from Pic St Loup. (Grenache, Mourvedre & Syrah). We took the recommended gourmandises with our coffee. Nice but a bit too much. The surprise came when we received our bill charging us â¬185 for two rather than â¬115 and found a really expensive wine (a Cote Rotie, a top syrah from Northern Rhone) priced at â¬69,00 included on our bill. Trust this was a mistake. The restaurant was completely full so a mistake is easily made. But I would have expected the waiters to have checked the bill before presenting it to us. Which couple would finish an entire bottle of Cote Rotie with their gourmandises (sweet dessert) after drinking one glass of a nice but relatively simple Pic St. Loup with their main course???With the pushy behaviour of the waiters, the reason why I have rated the service as poor. We will not be back.

Excellent french food at a fair price with a good atmosphere and decor. All of the other dishes we saw also looked equally appetising and the wine was good. The service was excellent, very attentive and understanding with our limited french. The Chartreuse Creme Brule was particularly excellent.

This restaurant is open at lunchtime only Monday to Friday. It caters mainly for local discerning business men.It is owned and run by Nicolas Santi and his wife Florence. It is small with about 20 covers and booking is essential.the food is prepared by Nicolas to the very highest standards and the menu is changed twice a week.We ate there on two occasions and found the standard of the food extremely high(I have eaten worse in Michelin starred restaurants)There is no outdoor seating

A local French restaurant to our office. Went a couple of times always good. This time I tried their duck. Love duck in France. This duck was outstanding, so tender and full of flavours and the seasoning was exceptional. The best duck I ever tasted and I always try it when I am back in France which is 4-5 time a year over a number of years.

Lovely little place with nice terrasse. Very small daily menu prepared with fresh ingredients and care. Delicate taste. Variety on the plate. Desserts that call you back! Friendly owners. (The chef even asked children at the next table what vegetable they would like on their plate!)

Really good cooking with a huge smile and pleasure on serving. They might not have many different dishes, but the ones they have, they do it well and with pride to well serve. The cook will be really happy if you empty the plate. âºI recommend it!
