The crepes were excellent. Despite the language barrier, we were made to feel very much at home. It's obvious the chef takes great joy in preparing and sharing quality food with his guests, and the service was also very pleasant. Highly recommended.

We are used to go to premium restaurants but really this one is disappointing. Staff is nice and smiling. No menu proposed, only à la carte.Prices are very high for good but not exceptional dishes. There are much better restaurants for cheaper prices not so far...

The food here is traditional french cuisine........went with my brother and girlfriend for lunch. The wait staff are friendly as is the owner. Great atmosphere....check out the lower level. A good wine list either by the bottle or glass. I would recommend this place for a nice lunch.

The menu selection is not huge, but certainly adequate. We both found very good choices which we enjoyed in the ambiance of the outdoors in the square. The wait staff were superb and smiling and the prices were certainly competitive. We'd go back again!

We visited Le Bulle Gourmand on our way back from a vacation in Normandy and it turned out to be a fantastic find. The restaurant takes everything that is great about French culinary traditions and mixes it with modern influences. Just the amuse bouche an onion velouté with Jamon Serrano chips exemplifies the concept of the restaurant and boy was it good. This alone was worth the visit. The other dishes again combined traditional French cuisine with modern influences in a non-pretentious way that worked quite well. All in all a wonderful dinner.

This is an excellent restaurant, the food is simply outstanding. We (a party of 4) had several delicious tapas, and shared a Paella which was spectacular. If you happen to be in Melun-France or visiting the nearby Vaux Vicomte Chateau, don't miss this restaurant !!!

I went to this restaurant three times, during my internship in Paris. It is a pretty restaurant at the heart of Melun. Nice service and good dishes. The ambience is good. However, compared to other restaurants outside Melun, it is not that exceptional.

Quiet, private location inside a traditional cottage. Modern, well lit, inviting interior and pleasant atmosphere. Very comfortable seating. The service was extremely efficient and attentive. High scores for the quality and presentation of food (see attached pics), the fish preparation was spectacular. Very good wine list. Highly recommended - a great way to spend an evening when you're in the area.

We ate here for lunch. The place is a small, quaint restaurant built into the adjacent homes and other businesses on a very quiet street in a lovely small town. The maitresse d' is a lovely, attractive, smartly dressed lady, whom we surmise is the owner (my French guest concurred). The restaurant is quite lovely; a little bit tavern with its exposed ceiling timbers, and a little elegant with its lovely curtains, and if it classed up its wall sconces just a bit, could be even better. The place very clean and is obviously loved. We had a full day planned, so we decided just to have an entre. I had a trio of meats including a delightful beef filet, a terrine of pork and duck breasts. This was served with roasted vegetables, and liqeur-infused grapes. My wife had a wonderful beef fillet topped with foie gras. Everything was cooked to perfection and elegantly served. The portions were generous -- best we hadn't gotten appetizers. We drank a lovely Meursault (the more expensive of the two (about E70), which was one of the best whites we had in France the whole week. Glassware was immaculate. The service was relaxed and gentile. The food was inexpensive by European standards especially for what you got.If you're visiting the Vaux le Vicomte 10 minutes away, this is the place to eat -- outstanding and a relative bargain!
