Cozy restaurant offering a cuisine of Nice and Provence, adorned with art and offering gourmet pizzas.
Located in a quiet part of Longueuil, Lou Nissart offers delicious provençale cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere friendly and attentive service. I had the best fried calamari (light & crispy) with a refreshing vegetable risotto. Great for a quiet date night. The desert was unique and perfect. We loved this place. Pretty room, wonderful waiter and the food was incredible. I had the to-die-for piglet risotto with foie gras and the rack of lamb entrée - seriously the best food ever. My fr loved his food as well. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Bagatelle Bistro is how we like our neighborhood bistros to be. Nicely located close to the Maisonneuve Market, Bagatelle Bistro is a Bring Your Own Wine restaurant which offers tasty cuisine with Mediterranean accents. On a daily basis you will find that
Friends took us out there for dinner during our visit to Montreal. The food was delicious; we all had items from the table dâhôte including soup and dessert. They have a great little patio, first come first served. Tip: bring your own wine.

I looked on Trip Advisor to find a nice place to take my 97 year old Mother-in-Law and her grand-daughter out for a treat before we went to the Botanical Gardens. We all had the Brunch Specials, The Omelette, "Huevos Rancheros" and the Matane shrimp roll. The service was very friendly and while we were all speaking in French, the waitress broke into perfect English for about 15 seconds to describe how a dish was prepared then back into French to take the rest of our order. Grandma decided to have a glass of wine with her meal and the recommended white was greatly appreciated. I changed my order to the omelette after my guest asked for a description of the two egg centric dishes on offer. The Omelette; mozzarella, chanterelles, pesto, pickled beans dish was served on a slate with potatoes which very much seemed like the potato latkes of my Montreal childhood. A big meal â filling â and very delicious too.Grandma dug into a very generous shrimp roll with the type of frites that usually come with steak-frites. Grand daughter stated that the "Huevos Rancheros" were excellent and she was surprised at how generous a potion she received. I started with a coffee along with grand-daughter. It was terrible and grand-daughter said she'd had worse. On the whole a great meal to bolster our energies before making an afternoon at the Botanical Gardens.

Renowned chef Joël Robuchon developed an innovative culinary concept: to offer top-drawer gourmet food that excites all the senses and serve it in a friendly and unpretentious environment. From Paris to London, Hong Kong to Las Vegas, L'Atelier de Joël Ro
It is undeniable that the food served at l'Atelier is on par with any of the best restaurants in the city and that it most likely offers the best plating/presentation in the city (at least compared to Toque, Maison Boulud, Chasse et Peche or Europea). If you go for the tasting menu, you won't be disappointed. Since the restaurant reads the reviews, I'll point out where they can improve:1) Not have a tacky paper on the plate holding the cloth napkin when you arrive. It looks cheap.2) The plates where not arriving all at the same time. A few times, the servers where not in sync and some guests were receiving their plates a minute or so before the others.3) The Tribute to Joel Robuchon is a bit too pricey and too focused on foie gras - at least when I went - compared to the other tasting menus. The vegetarian menu which was picked by one guest is great value.4) Perhaps build some form of dedicated access to the restaurant. The location of the restaurant is by far the biggest problem they will be facing on the long run. If it was located in a more cozy environment in the core of the city, it would be way more successful.Hello MaxMarchand, thank you for your note and we do appreciate your feedback. We read all the reviews and try to take advantage of them to improve the experience for our customers. Your four suggestions will be forwarded to the AJR's Brigade. Once again thank you and have a great day.

Cuisine francaise et produits du terroir. Ambiance decontracte et service chaleureux.
Our experience may not be typical. Perhaps the waitress was having a bad day. Perhaps it is best to find another restaurant if you do not speak French. There are no English menus and the woman who seated us and took our orders did not seem pleased that she would have to translate things into English. There were many things on the menu that she did not have the translation for so we had to use translation apps on our phones. She was brusk with my family and we did not see much of her after she took our order. In contrast, the young girl who brought us our food and cleaned the tables was bright and kind. Although her English was limited (not as limited as our French) she helped to make our meal enjoyable. In further contrast, the food was outstanding. My braised beef was tender and succulent. The house made BBQ sauce was a little sweet for my taste, but my wife loved it. My wife's duck leg confit was perfect and my son's salmon was perfectly cooked.
