My galette of ham, cheese, and mushrooms was the best I've ever had. The galette was thin and crispy and had a great buttery flavor. The dessert crepe of chocolate and banana was as good as any I've had elsewhere. For the reviewer who claims there are no toilets, I have to say I am perplexed. They are right inside the door. If you can't find a toilet in a restaurant, just ask. The wait staff is always happy to direct you in the right direction.

Despite being extremely busy, the waiter looked after us well. It was cold outside so we appreciated being inside out of the wind. The red velvety chairs add to the 'theatre' feel.Sorry you are not on the right page, we are a little restaurant in Angers with dark leather chairs⦠Could you delete your comment please?

Service was very poor. Most courses were very good, but some lacked terribly. The truffle course was just terrible in a very poor sauce. Filet steak was excellent, of gras was great. But experience was ruined by very poor service. Staff were clearly confused over the menu themselves. Excellent dessert.

Un bistrot authentique et une cuisine gourmande.
What can we say? Superb 3 course meal with wine, water and free apperitif!!!Superb staff especially as we speak minimal french! Understanding and helpful as they were as well! Cannot speak highly enough of the evening. You can tell the quality of the establishment by how early it's full and how many were turned away. bravo all.

When in Angers on business this is my favorite restaurant for the outstanding beef dishes, plentiful and flavorful. We sit outside when the weather is good, usually in groups of 4-6 and the experience is pure pleasure. A very large selection of meats, well prepared with relatively attentive service and generally reasonable prices. Can be busy for dinner so be prepared. A very good, regular haunt for me in Angers

This little Japanese-French restaurant (max 14 people) serves heavenly, fresh food - seated around the open kitchen while watching the chef build a masterpiece of savory dishes using dance-like mouvements..one can see the passion & love he has for his work - excellent fine cuisine - different tastes present in the variety of dishes proposed - combination of smoked foie gras with gravlax salmon and mushrooms// spinach, asparagus & shrimp bisque // tender angus beef pumpkin potato & morel sauce // crispy melted chocolate crunch as dessertâ- accompanied by very tasty red wineThe great thing about this concept: strangers present naturally start talking to each other as the dinner continues - international spirit - countries represented around our table that evening (counting chef Kazumi): Japan, Russia, Italy, France, Belgium â- and we all had an excellent evening and a good laugh Thanks!

This is a gastronomic restaurant with menus for lunch between 30 and 60 euros. Lovely dining room with picture windows all around and views of the Louet River. The waiting staff was fantastic, quick and friendly. We especially appreciated our filipino waitress. She was adorable. We choose the cheapest menu and I had a wonderful starter: salad with smoked fish. The main course was cod with a delicious cream sauce and an interesting assortment of vegetables. Large portion and beautifully presented. For dessert, we had fresh fruit in crème fraîche.

After searching for a suitable restaurant in a location with a limited number of restaurants, we decided to have dinner at San Marco. We were pleasantly surprised with the excellent and friendly service as well as the delicious meal we had. My partner had a Pizza Basquaise and claimed it was the best pizza he ever had! And he has eaten a lot of pizza in his life.....

Overlooking a lively square in the heart of Angers, Provence Caffé has a contemporary, relaxed atmosphere. Join us on the first floor to discover our creative cuisine with hints of the Mediterranean. Fresh fish is a speciality.
